@MikeCarlton01 @iiNet I can't believe there has been outage for this long - there systems are either ********* or they DGAF (speaking as someone who used to work in mission critical IT)

@iiNet It’s about time you put out an official communication about the outage. If you did this 24 hours ago your customers wouldn’t be so irate. However, waiting a day before saying anything only opens you up to a flood of complaints to the TIO.

I hope this serious outage at @iiNet will be a wake-up call for management to implement a redundant strategy for mail hosting. To blame the hot weather for an outage is shameful on so many levels. Impact of this 24+ hour outage during a pandemic and Christmas holiday is serious.

@iiNet Your total lack of information for over 24 hrs is what is unforgivable and will be losing you many thousands of customers and possibly include legal action from business clients. Your apology with no fix yet and no timeline for rectification is a pathetic effort.

So @iiNet any ETA on restoration of services? Are u admitting that you have no back up plan and only a single set of servers in #WA that fail as soon as temp exceeds 42 degrees? #iinet
