@iiNet Hey, iiNet. We've had satellite NBN in the Lower Hunter Valley for 12 months. Since Christmas, the connection has not been available from sunset til the following morning most nights. Getting. Really. Sick. Of. It. Can anyone explain why... About to cancel subscription.

Expensive plan. Eventually, after 16 years as a loyal customer I moved to another internet provider. Their reaction? A shrug of the shoulders. Pathetic. @iiNet - you should be ashamed.

@iiNet @NBN_Australia called your helpline yesterday as my internet went down. I booked a tech for this morning who did not show. I needed this broadband fixed so I could send documents to a client. Called back and was told I had to book another appt for tomorrow.

@iiNet So everyone can read this, basically IINet have blamed me for not having a better NBN plan rather than address their unprofessionalism. They tried to upsell me a new, more expensive NBN plan rather than actually address my issue.

No callback from @iiNet so I called them and they told me there’s nothing that can do, nobody I can talk to, and I just have to wait and hope the issue gets resolved before someone calls me back tomorrow maybe

@iiNet Yeah no worries they told me they’ll call me back sometime in the next 24 hours, which can be loosely translated to @iinet won’t reconnect my internet until mid next week because 24 hours takes us into Friday and it’s an issue that takes at least two days to rectify

@iiNet I understand that your power providers perform planned maintenance that affects your ability to provide services. But why you can’t provide advance notice? Today is 2nd unexpected many hour outage blamed on planned power outage. Not good enough.
