@iiNet when will you support esim?

  • deanfrommelb Dean Lewis (@deanfrommelb) reported

@iiNet With telcos and ISP's I'm used to seeking help through online chat with the company. Having a call, waiting around is unacceptable in 2023. Online chat seems only for sales, is this right?

  • deanfrommelb Dean Lewis (@deanfrommelb) reported

@iiNet Does the new Home 5G plan come with backup 4G if 5G has issues? Generally I find my 50mbs is a floor, not a ceiling when it comes to speed. "Sometimes" it all drops out, and as I've moved from NBN to this, I'm not sure what troubleshooting steps to take

  • n3w4v3 Virgil / Yes (@n3w4v3) reported

@iiNet So WTF is happening? By ASAP you mean after the month of my ‘free’ connection that hasn’t connected? I had a missed call yesterday then a request to call back requiring an hour on hold.

@iiNet so I just received a message that my task has been closed the problem hasn't been solved. Was told it was escalated but have heard nothing.

  • canning30 Simon Canning (@canning30) reported

@trevorlong @Channel7 Sadly having major issues with @iiNet multiple NBN disconnections that they are investigating. So forced to rely on ropey free to air coverage.

@iiNet modem's been on '4g mode' for around 5 hours now, restarted the modem a few times but nothing changes. is there some kind of outage in the melbourne CBD?

  • n3w4v3 Virgil (@n3w4v3) reported

So now after giving support one last go and waiting an hour for a call back @iiNet just hung up on me. ****

  • n3w4v3 Virgil / Yes (@n3w4v3) reported

For those following at home @iiNet has still not been able to resolve my new 5G Home install - they never follow up@on@past calls - three support tickets thus far- all seem to disappear into the ether

  • CarlDPayne Antifa Payne 🎹😈 (@CarlDPayne) reported

@iiNet DM sent. Seems finally to have been resolved. Hidden & impenetrable management processes are not confined to iiNet. It’s a corporate disease, perceived as efficiency. It’s really just “**** YOU” to the customer……
