@ClaraChongMCF @iiNet Hi, Clara… my service provider (iiNet) have sent me messages saying that NBNCo are investigating an outage in Darlo area. It’s definitely an NBN issue, I think; 2nd light flashing on black NBN box, which I think means there’s no NBN connection. Happened about 3 wks ago, too.

@iiNet I was just wondering if there was a known issue with iinet not connecting to disneyplus. I can connect to other streaming servers no problem but need to disconnect from my wifi and use my mobile data to use disneyplus.

@ianbfarquhar @LG_Australia @iiNet Well it can be a reasonable firewall... sorta.. it’s basically Linux and iptables which you can make a decent firewall out of... the problem is when it is also your endpoint with credentials it’s a problem.. need and “in” and “out” and the modem endpoint next to it.

@iiNet I upgraded from NBN25 to NBN50 on Thursday...20 minutes later I lost wifi... AFTER 5 hours of phone calls... that i made...NO ONE has fixed it or called me back despite assurances. It is NOT my router...it's the config of iinet. I am still waiting for a fix 4 days later!

@iiNet Thanks. I’ve messaged you but I’d be grateful if you could stop wasting all this paper spamming random residences. We’re in a climate emergency!

@iiNet Well I’d love to look but my home internet is so bad for the last week that I need to rely on my phone data to do anything …..and I certainly wouldn’t go through the same company that provides such intermittent cable
