Is it just me or is @hbomax the worst UI/UX of all the streaming platforms. Via web or Roku it's slow, clunky and super buggy, at least in my experience.

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, When I was an intern in my previous job I took the role of jr. web developer. Day 2 of me being there, they requested I take down a website TEMPORARILY, (try to) fix some issues and get it back up. I accidentally deleted the whole website without back-up. Cheers!

@AlyssaM_InfoSec @hbomax Yeah it's the worst! You hop in then it freezes for 10 seconds. If you try to navigate beforehand, it crashes.

@AlyssaM_InfoSec @hbomax It's built into my Samsung TV and is also completely awful. I have to force close the app often. One of the funnier things was parental controls, which they sort of fixed. It used to be you needed the PIN to get into the kid's account, not the adult one. 🙄 Lol

@AlyssaM_InfoSec @hbomax Don't try Peacock or Paramount+. They're worse... Heck, Paramount+ just added a watch list for the first time a few months ago! In 2021!!! HBO Max isn't terrible on the Nvidia Shield, comparatively.

@AlyssaM_InfoSec @Title9Jen @hbomax I hear ya. HBO interface has been the worst hands-down for YEARS. HBOMax is kudgey - the seach is crap & having to sub sub sub context to see "hubs" is a pain w/ Roku. (I don't use voice recognition)

@AlyssaM_InfoSec @hbomax HBO is the worst UI. Amazon Prime is the worst audio. Decent surround setup (HSU+Emotiva), and I have to swing the volume up and down almost 10 dba to catch dialogue between sound effects. I suspect they are messing with the audio to make it sound better on laptop/tablet.
