For those trying to get Dolby Atmos on @hbomax app, I had to side load a much older version ( 50.35.0.275 Android TV version ). Still can't get Dolby Vision to work ( Fire TV Cube ). Netflix etc... all work fine with Vision/Atmos so it's 100% HBO's app at fault #DuneMovie

@HBOMaxHelp so r u guys ever gonna fix ur app on roku tv. It wont load. Ur app is the only 1 that won't work on my TCL roku tv. Been this way for months. And yes I have tried reinstalling the app and unplugged the tv.

@NJDavidD @hbomax I watched it in iMAX in the UK and it was loud enough to hear fortunately. I was impressed. I knew it was broken into parts so fortunately that was not a surprise. Long wait now though

@HBOMaxHelp Tried watching it on both PS5 and XSX. The quality of the stream is bad. It is not a crisp 4k. There's tons of artifacts and crushed blacks. My internet connection is hardwired and 1gb down. Also, there are absolutely no controls to change the styles of the subtitles.

@dunemovie @hbomax In watching the first 12 minutes of Dune I can't help but notice the disconnect between the technological advancements of things like planetary and space vehicles/travel with a complete lack of advancements with things like clothing material and styling. It's so annoying to view!

@hbomax I tried watching this on a Sony 4K projector, 165” 1:85 screen with a 300mb connection, and Martin Logan ESLX setup. It looked and sound like garbage. I turned it off, and put Netflix on, and it screamed quality. What is up with your 4K/Atmos stream???

Go see Dune. In theaters (If you feel safe) or you can watch on HBO Max - they have a free intro period. And after giving them crap, sending out props to @hbomax for *finally* fixing their PS4 "Oops" Problem.

@hbomax Download movies do not offer audio description for the blind. If you are streaming the movie, it will play audio description track no problem. I downloaded something to watch on the airplane and description would not play. Let’s please fix this bug.

Hey @HBOMaxHelp signed up for a year, no Dolby Vision OR Atmos on Fire TV Cube. Works fine in Netflix etc.. Side loaded Android TV older version now have Atmos but still no Vision. What is the actual fix to get Vision+Atmos ? Or do I just apply for a refund ?
