@Carnage4Life Personally I like the weekly format, but I can’t say if that’s winning or not. But you are right about the show quality. I find @hbomax has way better quality content than @netflix all around. So much so that I have not watched Netflix for last couple of months.

@HBOMaxHelp That is IF and only if the show or movie isn’t freezing up to buffer. I’m beginning to think I need to ditch the fire stick and get something else. I really like this service but I get so much anxiety trying to watch something cause it’s such a hassle. That’s not why I watch tv

What’s the deal @hbomax? Out of all the streaming platforms, yours is the only one with sounds drop outs, unreasonably long pauses and generally bad playback. Good thing the shows are decent because the quality is cancel-level otherwise

Does anyone else have a problem with @hbomax subtitles never working? There’s no option on the app to turn them on, I have them turned on through Roku. They work like 5% of the time on HBO but I don’t have a problem with any other streaming service.

@overjoyed_joy @hbomax Exactly - stilted. I read earlier that most of the cast are Broadway actors, which might account for some of the cadence issues. But the script also feels...obvious. Like how many times do we have to hear that Mrs. Chamberlain is bad? Hah, we get it.
