@freddielm @hbomax I can’t figure out how this app decides which quality to stream in. Disney+ and my iTunes library all stream in 4K HDR or Dolby Vision no problem, but HBO Max is mostly limited to HD

Watching “Winning Time” on HBO Max and it’s extremely realistic, especially the part where it feels like I’m watching it in 1980 due to the terrible quality. @hbomax @HBOMaxHelp If this isn’t remedied soon I will be canceling my subscription. It’s getting ridiculous.

@Xfinity @hbomax I am having playback errors with several movies. The Last Duel and Nobody. Can you help? They pop up and say there is an HBOMax playback error. Does not happen with Euphoria. Seems to have an error in the same place each time.

@ElderheartLibra @hbomax I live in Slovakia where it is considered enough to have Czech language for most of available material. And Slovak and Czech are 20 times more different than any south slavic language - so i think you are exaggerating the problem.

@DCComics @hbomax why every new show nowdays has to be limited?? If you're going to make show then why not go full lenght with it Why not 15+ ep? noone says you cant have more than 10 without losing the quality.. Disney shows proved that even with focus on quality most their shows were MID/trash

@NederlandseOrde @hbomaxnl @hbomax No, I’m not entirely new to technology or technical problems, our system is running properly. There is no VPN, all systems were restarted and I went through all the motions. If it was only me, then yes, I would ask myself how come I’m the only one.

@HBOMaxHelp You're not listening look at all of the people since last year that have the same problem I'm on HBO Max on demand on the Cox's contour Box it's set to English but it's playing in Spanish there is no other options it even says you cannot change the options when you go into sap.

@NederlandseOrde @hbomaxnl @hbomax At this point more than 24 hours after launch it’s still not working. But I was able to speak to customer support and they will try to fix this problem (which is on their end) within 2 hours. Let’s see if it does happen.

@Clarknt67 @hbomax Is it a Roku TV or a Roku device? I had to delete all the crap channels I never use because evidently they suck up enough bandwidth just sitting there that it screws up HBO. I was having the same issue as you but it hasn't recurred since I culled the useless channels.

@HBOMaxHelp We actually discovered a fix you might want to pass on to others. I had the audio track set to English when it started reading the screen even though screen reader was off. When I switched the audio track to Italiano, the screen reading stopped.

@hbomax can you fix your TV app to move subtitles above the scrub bar when displaying it? Keep having to rewind whenever I pause My Brilliant Friend so as not to miss out on 30s of dialogue.

guys, @hbomax you gotta update that #PS5 app because the quality really is bad. no 4K and even the full hd titles look like they're streaming at 720p. (and my connection speed is at +468 mb/s and wired)

@katherinespiers @hbomax I had this same issue. Finally got transferred to someone at HBO who knew what to do. Go to accessibility menu in settings and change language from English to Italian.
