Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • FakeTVCritic Fake TV Critic (@FakeTVCritic) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Is there an issue on your end? My Roku keeps crashing, and it's not happening with other apps. I've restarted, checked for updates, and signed out and signed back in. Wtf is going on?

  • HomeroXLara Homero Lara (@HomeroXLara) reported

@HBOMaxHelp loving all the support for this intern. we've all been there. i once brought down the entire network of a mid-sized corp for several hours. this was ~3 years into my career. back then it was the worst day of my career, now its a great conversation piece.

  • Frank_Baws Frank (@Frank_Baws) reported

@HBOMaxHelp I constantly received apologies from companies who send the wrong email or a broken email. None of them apologise on Twitter though. Not a big deal at al.

  • sleepy_dugong Kevin Liao (Liāu ka-kî) (@sleepy_dugong) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, On my first day at my first ever coding job, I deleted the company's entire Dropbox. I thought I'd be fired but my boss restored the folder from a backup and told me that if I could have deleted everyone's work that would've been on the company, not me!

  • DanPassenNH Dan Passen (@DanPassenNH) reported

@HBOMaxHelp I wish this was the worst thing I did as an intern back in college. This is hardly an ordeal! Buy your boss a beer and laugh it off.

  • ryandao47 Ryan Dao (@ryandao47) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Poor intern. Please don't be harsh on them. This is a process problem.

  • ehdecker Ethan Decker (@ehdecker) reported

@armano @hbomax This is like that standard fix for a downed wifi router: unplug it. WTF. @internetofshit

  • PhilLTheIV Phil L The IV (@PhilLTheIV) reported

@HBOMaxHelp My first job? I was blessed to be there the day a friend wrote himself an email over something stupid that could have been avoided if he had just double checked his work… closed with "sometimes you can be a real dumbass."… & sent to the listserv address instead of his own.

  • GaMMa_Goliath Goliath (@GaMMa_Goliath) reported

@HBOMaxHelp I work for an insurance company. My first week, my email had 27k emails in it, because 1 person sent an email to EVERY employee working for the entire company. It was hilarious, but it happens!

  • phillycheryl phillycheryl (@phillycheryl) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, Not a big deal. Almost no mistake made at work is. Go to happy hour today with your head held high.

  • ChristaTRomance Christa Tomlinson (@ChristaTRomance) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, In my worst job mishap ever, I accidentally dumped an entire glass of ice water on a customer my first night waiting tables. Thought for sure I'd be fired. But I wasn't & I ended up having a great time w/ nice tips while working there. Chin up!

  • mmmrachey Rach (@mmmrachey) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, I once got 1000s of signs printed with a random ` in the middle of a word that I had inadvertently hit when trying to hit esc. Got thousands of booklets with the wrong phone number printed. Broken multiple websites (no site, only white screen).

  • Saras23636979 Sara's (@Saras23636979) reported

@armano @hbomax I was hacked too, these support services are just time wasting, send a DM to dallas_tech on instagram, they’ll help you fix your account in less than an hour

  • BillSwisher7 Bill Swisher (@BillSwisher7) reported

The way I have been treated in this life makes me sad. @CNN How much more should I have to deal with? I don't know how to sue @Hbomax or for that matter anyone else. Help!

  • patcorrea10 Pat Correa @🏡😷 (@patcorrea10) reported

@pgennai @hbomax as a marketer, that is one of my worst nightmares...

  • mauriciob91 Mauricio Berlanga (@mauriciob91) reported

@jcchavezs @rakyll @HBOMaxHelp As a Jr I accidentally put an infinite loop in production that blocked the JS event loop a couple days before a big showcase in a huge conference, senior dev had to fix it on a Sunday.

  • NotThePuppy Charlie Brown (@NotThePuppy) reported

@HBOMaxHelp A single intern can break your whole qa process for audience? That is a process that needs reevaluation. Or re-allocating staff so such errors aren’t as possible for one person to mess up. Or maybe training your interns better. Throwing them under the bus is bad form. Shame.

  • deep_drew_sea Drew Moncelle (@deep_drew_sea) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear intern, on the second day of my first post college job I got invited to an event, got far too drunk at said event, and left my work laptop in a cab never to be seen again.

  • ReallyJeffEvans Jeff Evans (@ReallyJeffEvans) reported

@HBOMaxHelp The intern shouldn't have even had permission to access the production email systems. So the problem really is higher up.

  • JeffreyBarger15 Jeffrey Barger (@JeffreyBarger15) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Wrong. It was the fault of whoever was supposed to be supervising the intern or whatever failure led to them having the permissions to do it. It's an organizational issue, not the intern's fault.

  • thejennybones Jenny Bones (@thejennybones) reported

@HBOMaxHelp I hope this is a paid internship, especially if they’re getting thrown under the bus when surely someone is around to check their work👀

  • jetsers Joel (@jetsers) reported

@dnf @HBOMaxHelp @everquestii Compared to the things I have seen since leaving eqii that would be a minor issue.

  • SQLBeat Rodney Landrum (@SQLBeat) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Did the intern also flip the switch to disable turning off audio descripton? It has been days and every new movie describes every single frame with no way to turn it off. No updates and to reinstall requires jumping through the re-sign in hoops. Come on.

  • SamuraiPaps Alex Paps (@SamuraiPaps) reported

@HBOMaxHelp I am completely locked out of my account due to an unauthorized user changing all my info. Please help.

  • SchumerAndrew Andrew Schumer (@SchumerAndrew) reported

@WGNNews @hbomax SHAME ON YOU. An intern is typically under the guidance of a MENTOR/LEADER, but go ahead scapegoat on intern. You should publicly apologize to the intern and guarantee the intern a job...that is if they'd work for you now.

  • MuskTillDawn Jesse, Openly Italian (@MuskTillDawn) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Ay intern is HBO cuttin that check or making you work for free?

  • Forever_Lightly ForeverLightly (@Forever_Lightly) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern On my very first day as a waiter I spilled an entire tray of sweet tea glasses on my first table of guests. They had to move booths but they left me $20 at the end. 7 years later (help) I can now hold a tray of 14 glasses no trouble much to the terror of my coworkers

  • YouKnowWutIMean SouthPaw (@YouKnowWutIMean) reported

@HBOMaxHelp You should fix your Mobile app while you're at it. It's a poor user experience. Go look at any other, and get inspo on how to do it right. Or hire me.

  • JustinTurney4 Justin Turney (@JustinTurney4) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Intern, Everyone ***** up. At least your **** up is funny and didn’t do any damage. Also, why does HBOMax load the first 10 seconds of video in potato quality? That’s the real issue that needs resolved.

  • aviinfinity Aviinfinity (@aviinfinity) reported

    @cherthedev @HBOMaxHelp @Blizzard_Ent and that;s why you work at apple now ;)
