Ok so apparently there’s a frame rate problem with a lot of HBO Max shows being interloped to have a higher frame rate including Doctor Who, Billy and Mandy, Larry Sanders, etc. @hbomax wtf?

@HBOMaxHelp All programs. Turns out to be an issue with the app overriding audio settings on a @amazonfiretv with a sound bar attached…only fix I’ve found right now is disconnect the sound bar. Does not happen on computer, mobile or an @Roku tv.

@HBOMaxHelp Your colleagues over at Nordic said that there are no proper subtitles for chromecast users now or in the near future and I just have to ask, why? Your xbox app is also unusable, so there is no way for me to use your service. Just feels goofy, it's 2022.

Going on 24 hours of broken @hbomax app on @amazonfiretv. No audio or just buzz. Multiple TV failures, works fine on computer or phone. Glad I had planned to watch the new Carlin doc on my big screen tonight. 😧

@hbomax Question-When are you coming to Canada AS HBO Max? Being partnered with Crave is garbage. Their service is terrible, UI is almost non functional, it doesn’t even remember where you left off. It hasn’t been updated in years. I canceled recently because I can’t stand using it.

Something I would like to work for a single day/weekend. I really wish the @hbomax app on PS4 wasn't such an utter piece of garbage. Can't play a single episode of anything before it crashes. Uninstall, reinstall, log in and out, etc. Nothing, still crashing. What a joke.

@HBOMaxHelp Then fix your app. It actually disconnects my wifi signal when I use it, sometimes. Nothing else can do that. Even @Spotify app just crashes, it doesn’t disconnect me. It’s ridiculous that you aren’t saying- “we are working on it,” and actually doing that. You’re asking me? 🤷🏽
