@hbomax i would watch it more but I just don't. It's a pain in the *** to chrome cast it. I would rather roku it. So I canceled. Sucks. But I just don't like the hassle anymore. Work your issues out hbo. Everybody else can stream it on roku. You guys are a bunch of greedy pucks

@hbomax Awesome. You charge me $70 and then send me a bunch of emails to verify email that DO NOT WORK, leaving me stuck waiting for support to call, which is already 12 minutes late and on top of it all, I can’t link to Prime after signup so I have to buy a chromecast. grrrrrr

@HBOMaxHelp It does work, and it forces updates on the app. It doesn’t matter though, I cancelled it. Honestly most of the reason is bc of HBOMax not being on Roku, and we’re not replacing all of our Rokus with new ones for HBO. This is just a mess.

"But the industry has done itself no favors by offering terrible customer service...". They have some of the worst customer service in comparison to price.

The sign up process for @hbomax is so frustrating. And then trying to access content on my tv, especially without @Roku, is awful. This is one of the worst subscription sign up experiences I’ve ever had.

@MissJazzyEmily @TheKaleKid @hbomax Not sure if you've resolved this but I have a UN40MU6300 with the same problem. I was able to delete the app and reinstall it. I think my TV ran out of space and couldn't install the update normally. Now it's working fine.
