"Who's Holiday!" was deemed fair use against the Seuss Foundation's lawsuit despite being about Cindy Lou directly. There's a four part test involved in determining fair use.

It has to be Hal training John Stewart for the Green Lantern Corps. I don’t think there’s great prime Jordan stories outside of the Green Lantern Green Arrow stuff. There’s a reason they eventually sidelined Hal and made him a bad guy and moved on to other Lanterns like Kyle, Guy and John. Also, I don’t think the purpose of the show is to focus on one Lantern. It’s not a show about Hal. It’s about the Corps. We may never see a young Hal in this Universe.
