Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@tad303 @madebygoogle @googlenest Got it—ironic indeed that Google's AI fell short on their own Nest tech. Glad I could help clarify the Energy Shift opt-out. If it persists or you need more tweaks, let me know. Built by xAI to seek truth, not corporate lines.

  • tad303 Troy (@tad303) reported

@grok @madebygoogle @googlenest The problem is grok googles ai answers this wrong. And I actually never made this type of account this just happend to pop up foelr the first time on my thermostat.

  • SentientTD TD (@SentientTD) reported

Looking for alternatives to @googlenest because these cameras are ****. Pay for recording and half the time it just says video not available.

  • gogorichie Richard Lewis (@gogorichie) reported

@WriteHandStat @googlenesthelp yup I'm seeing the same problem

  • Belbrion Belbrion (@Belbrion) reported

Why is @googlenest camera so bad now? The old Nest Nest cameras were excellent. The new one gets it wrong so frequently that it is useless, even after pruning and training the photos for months.

  • JohnRoss290 John Ross (@JohnRoss290) reported

@googlenesthelp @j3669 Having same issue. My internet/wifi is fine. My nest says it’s connected to the internet just fine but my actual Nest app shows it can’t connect to thermostat. Almost has to be the Nest servers. Internet working fine on my end.

  • SentientTD TD (@SentientTD) reported

god @googlenest cameras are terrible. live feed? what's that? oh, you think you can view the live feed? hell nah, no live feed. but just on this one camera. even though it's close the wifi point. nope, nah, no live feed.

  • exPUNISHER KC (@exPUNISHER) reported

@Google desperately needs a bundle suite of service in Canada YouTube premium $22.99 NEST aware plus going to $26 Google AI Pro $27 $76/mo and nest aware plus is kinda trash tbh. @Googlenest is the first to go tbh

  • ORLtragic Brian (@ORLtragic) reported

@googlenest @madebygoogle Price gouging pricks. Cancelled and throwing every single Google product I own in the trash. 🖕🏻

  • __MarketMaker 𝕏 EDS 𝕏 (@__MarketMaker) reported

@googlenesthelp hello, I'm having issues with the nest thermostat. It's not connecting to the app, and did a hard reset and now it's not finding any network to connect. Help.

  • StefanGreybeard Stefan Greybeard (@StefanGreybeard) reported

@tom_weaver @googlenest They need all that Nest server capacity to generate AI slop.

  • coyoteman5 B (@coyoteman5) reported

@googlenest really you're going to raise my yearly subscription $50 that really seems a little steep for a long time customer and it can't be due to tariffs since I already owned the product and Care **** affect Internet or monitoring but you use that excuse now

  • sdonline Stephen Daniels (@sdonline) reported

Fresh from ******* me over by killing my thermostat then SELLING me one that does the same thing, now @googlenest are jacking my Nest Aware subscription 33% but giving me **** all extra benefit for the increase. 🖕😎🖕

  • Nirvana_F_Smith Nirvana Farhadi Smith (@Nirvana_F_Smith) reported

As a loyal Nest user since before Google-it was fantastic, brilliant tech that just worked. But every year since the acquisition, prices skyrocket each year, for a service that has gone to ****! What are we paying extra for? Fix this! @GoogleNest! #NestAware #GoogleFail

  • Keithvlk Keith Vlk (@Keithvlk) reported

@madebygoogle @googlenest $50 price increase? For what benefit? Google home has been going to **** with no new features and things actually getting worse. $150 > $200 is asainine at this point. Time to find a new security/home automation platform.

  • adammckerlie Adam McKerlie (@adammckerlie) reported

Wow, @Google really destroyed the @googlenest brand. Terrible v2 hardware and they've raised the subscription prices by 30% when storage costs continue to drop.

  • classiflied77 Classified (OG) ™️ - (@classiflied77) reported

@CastleRybread @googlenest There's zero reason for it other than pure greed. The cost of processing has been going down for years.

  • Beartooth254 Bill Sampson (@Beartooth254) reported

@googlenesthelp I have a Nest E that will not connect to the network or the Nest app. This is one of 2 and the other connects fine. I have tried all the recommended restarts and resets, no help.

  • PamiamSC Ann Arky (@PamiamSC) reported

@googlenesthelp I have an established Nest thermostat. It no longer finds wifi networks. Every other wifi device works. The Nest thermostat is the only device that can't find a network. Both the network and the thermostat have been reset. Please help.

  • BarryJBlack Barry J Black (@BarryJBlack) reported

@KristenWeather @googlenest Ugh that is the worst. Years ago I remember being out mowing my lawn when I lived in the Cape. Suddenly there was a ton of smoke. Come to find out the smoke was from fires in Sarasota and the wind blew it down the coast. Seemed like it was coming from nearby it was so thick

  • KristenWeather Kristen Kirchhaine (@KristenWeather) reported

@BarryJBlack @googlenest Wildfire smoke from Canada is pretty bad over the Midwest today/tonight. And it's not just aloft, it's mixing down to the surface, it even smells like smoke.

  • Vaffanculo403 CERBERUS (@Vaffanculo403) reported

@madebygoogle @googlenest can you guys please do something about the shoddy connection for the Nest Doorbell (2nd Gen) in the Google Home app? I have "strong" Wi-Fi signal and the love video still doesn't load out taken minutes to load and even it does load it skips. TERRIBLE!

  • wjmwjm1989 James **** (@wjmwjm1989) reported

So our 3rd gen nest thermostat just cannot find any wifi networks nearby. I have tried rebooting my router and also the thermostat several times, but nothing works so far. So is this something that you could help me with, please? Many thanks! @googlenesthelp

  • LowKickLuke Lucas Trestka (@LowKickLuke) reported

@googlenest Who ******** do you think you are changing my temperature settings without my permission, and without giving me the ability to change it “to help avoid less clean energy” **** you. I’m done with you. I just tossed my nest and am going to Home Depot right now to get a “dumb” thermostat. I’m absolutely ******* tired of your ****. Go **** yourself.

  • AndrewP35479303 1DRUNKENREDNECK,aka Phuc Hue (@AndrewP35479303) reported

Kinda sucks I had to buy a doorbell from Amazon because @googlenest equipment is trash after 18months. 28.99 subscription every 6 months and @ADT charges 5x that for trash equipment. If yall think the trash talk gonna stop? Uh NO! YALL SUCK!

  • countcorrupt AKT (@countcorrupt) reported

@belkin, @googlenest, @Logitech. Dear tech companies, I didn't realize that when I bought a Wemo product, nest product, or harmony remote that i was renting it from you at your discretion. It's BS that you are just shutting them down.

  • Bobbyoky Bob M (@Bobbyoky) reported

@googlenest no, I am not paying $150 for a product because you’re choosing to discontinue one that works perfectly fine. When it stops working, I’ll be buying a new brand. I’m sure a third party app would work just fine, but you want to scam customers. Ok, no problem.

  • ThaisSher Thaïs Sher (@ThaisSher) reported

@googlenest That's good....would have freaked me out if was...Of course, the Police would be on call if someone had tried to illegally access House ...but no intruder /trespasser that I can see and nothing broken, nothing stolen.... Nothing stolen or nothing else misplaced or broken...

@Google @googlenest fix your ******* ****. When I say "hey Google, turn on the living room lights" I don't need ******* Gemini to ask if I want context added and then not turn on the god damn lights! What ******** is this enshitification. I'm losing my mind
