  • RCornelous Ron Cornelous (@RCornelous) reported

@googlenest is there an outage? I just got notification that my doorbell camera is offline. My wife never went out, so I’m wondering why my camera is offline.

  • Safe_Diving Safe Diving (@Safe_Diving) reported

@googlenest have you fixed the power surge problem in your Thermostat 3rd Gen? My 2nd replacement has died after 1 year and I don't want to invest in a new one if it will only last 1yr or until the next powercut

  • PKulscar Pityu Kulscár (@PKulscar) reported

@googlenest Oh and I also updated my voice match details and authorised record and learn. I NEVER had any of this trouble with Alexa! I should've stayed with that! But thought the integration with my phone through my Google account would make things easier IT DIDN'T IT'S A CONSTANT HEADACHE

  • thesdcowgirl Jenn Zeller (@thesdcowgirl) reported

@googlenest Yes. It’s been set up multiple times in the app. It literally went from working to not working. She has now not worked for over 3 months. I miss her.

  • Chris_L_esquire Chris (@Chris_L_esquire) reported

@googlenesthelp Done. Only 1 of the 3 devices that wasn't working started working. Then I tried the doorbell again and back to only two first gen minis working and none of the 2nd gens or hub. Thanks for your help, anything else to try?

  • davepdotorg Dave Pearson (@davepdotorg) reported

@googlenest Just ran it again and it got the time correct. Glitch in The Matrix.

  • Matt_Newton33 Matt Newton (@Matt_Newton33) reported

@googlenesthelp 2 months now trying to get a replacement camera for my faulty product one. All you keep doing is saying thanks for your patience and you'll chase the team. It takes 2 days to receive one if ordered brand new. You're still charging me subscription. DM doesn't help.

  • Chris_L_esquire Chris (@Chris_L_esquire) reported

@googlenesthelp Hi, nest home hub mini X1+Google mini (2nd gen) X2 are not announcing when doorbell is rang. Tried factory resetting nest home hub mini & clearing app on my phone but it's not working. Nest app works on phone and notifies when doorbell is rang How do I fix this?

@googlenesthelp my 1.5 year old nest is registering my house at 10° hotter than it actually is, keeps disconnecting from the internet, and has changed the temperature randomly twice this week. Can you help me out with this?

  • captainwonkish Captain Wonkish (@captainwonkish) reported

@internetofshit And you have to pay $5, even if it’s just for your own purchased devices. Seriously wtf @googlenest ?

  • kumarkandas Kumar (@kumarkandas) reported

@googlenesthelp hi, I am having trouble with my nest thermostat- won’t connect to WiFi. I’ve tried resetting Thermostat and also rebooting the modem

@googlenest Is it possible to reboot Chromecast when it’s built in to the TV? I’ve tried turning the TV off + restating phone but still happening. So weird. It’s happened for years now (on different Chromecasts/devices/wifi connections) - only issue is with NBA, everything else streams fine

  • Clblass Cindy B (@Clblass) reported

@googlenest No issue with Google Nest - just wishing we *had* a Nest so I wouldn’t have to get up and disturb the cat to change the thermostat! 🙃🐱

@googlenesthelp help my google nest thermometer won’t connect to wifi after every recommendation on google help... I have only had less than 6 months

  • AgentEndive AE (@AgentEndive) reported

@madebygoogle @googlenest hi, I have been moving, & just recently re-sent up my wifi/nest stuff. My Nest app is saying "it's been a few days since we've heard from your phone." It's not using my phone for home/away assist, but it is recognizing me as "home." Any way to fix this?

  • timmitra Tim Mitra (@timmitra) reported

@googlenest 2. I had to dig into my home router to discover the error. I have gone 6 months with one of my Protects not connected. Now trying to add the Hello forced me to reset everything and start from scratch. No idea how the stale network info was adopted by the new Hello.

  • timmitra Tim Mitra (@timmitra) reported

@googlenest 1. I’ve wrestled with this before; I have a Nest Thermostat, 2 Protects and now a Hello. The biggest problem is that there is no way to check the network settings on the devices. It turns out that one of the devices had an old IP scheme and was trying to apply that to the others

  • winemaker Andrew Nash (@winemaker) reported

@googlenest The short term fix is turn the camera.on and then off again in the app but it will only last an indeterminate amount of time before repeating the problem

  • winemaker Andrew Nash (@winemaker) reported

@googlenest The problem continues - 2 outside and 2 inside cameras were all giving status notifications of movement and show a live stream when the app is opened despite being set to off

  • dbowersock Damien Bowersock (@dbowersock) reported

@googlenest Offering a phone support queue that hangs up on the caller after 4 min with a message of "sorry we can't help you now, try again later," is really unacceptable. You just supposed to keep trying?
