@statusofplanet @dgcpol @MrKRudd Murdoch disrupting NBN?! Now I’ve heard it all! Foxtel trash has often said it’s agnostic to HOW it gets its service to ppl homes/business. So why would it care about NBN per se. NBN was/is about a better delivery of internet to ppl, which would help ppl to access media better!

@realCarrickRyan Can we just go back 3 years before the cricket was on channel 7? It was all a lot more relevant back then. I miss ODIs it was a terrible idea giving them to Foxtel exclusively.

@YannickOda By and large, 7 seems to be going for more of a pure cricket vibe, as opposed to the MMM-footy-style, banter-heavy Foxtel line up. And yet 7 have hired Slater and Brayshaw, 2 of the worst banter merchants in the caper. Makes no sense. #AUSvsIND

Mark Howard said in a discussion about Boxing Day 2010 to Isha Guya “you come to this country and rip a million bucks out of the Foxtel budget.” Wtf is the 70s. She brings far more insight before she’s interrupted for someone to relay an AFL anecdote.

[2/2] However, #BoxingDayTest total audiences still well down (especially linear broadcast), with big drops for FTA partner Seven. But why... A better opposition and Foxtel is up? No 90,000 crowd? COVID? Different Festive feels? Seven's spat with CA? 》Wonder what CA think.
