“Back then News was valued at $23.95 billion, whereas six years later. it was down 1.6% as of September 30 Australia was one of the drivers of the loss, with the company saying it was hit by “challenges in the Australian housing market” and “lower subscription revenues at Foxtel”

I’ll say. My wife & I in our mid 60’s but our private health insurance has obstetrics as an item we can claim. Seriously. It’s like foxtel. You pay for shit you don’t want or need & pay through the nose for it.

@_CharlesMurphy But all HBOMax titles in Australia are managed by the ********* at @Foxtel on their #Binge Service, and with no subtitles, no plans for 4k, and bad customer service. No wonder pirating those titles is huge here. @hbomax you're losing money to these shills.

@diamondphillipz Just got told by Foxtel that they want to increase my package by $25. Filipino girl says nothing more they can do. Good then, so I will cancel and put the $25 to Kayo and save a thou a year. Bye Bye

@gsyoung Yes, and no. Foxtel offer a heap of different channels, so if you combine their audience it's not bad. Also they 'only' have 25% penetration in the market, so they come off a lower base anyway. Nobody has to pay to listen to your community radio station.

@KyleJL7 It’s not about televising an extra game, it’s about subscriptions. Foxtel are supportive according to Vlandys. He has to sell expansion to the other clubs because the other clubs don’t want to lose money to support another club from their share of the tv revenue
