“Back then News was valued at $23.95 billion, whereas six years later. it was down 1.6% as of September 30 Australia was one of the drivers of the loss, with the company saying it was hit by “challenges in the Australian housing market” and “lower subscription revenues at Foxtel”

I’ll say. My wife & I in our mid 60’s but our private health insurance has obstetrics as an item we can claim. Seriously. It’s like foxtel. You pay for shit you don’t want or need & pay through the nose for it.

@secomb_michael @platypusadmirer I never thought I’d be this thankful for sport on Foxtel. Even the darts is more interesting than interminable bloviating by ignorant reporters

Re: Huddersfield v Salford on Foxtel Australia. This kicks off at 10pm but due to NRL coverage it looks like it'll stream Live on the Kayo service and be shown on Fox League delayed from 11.45pm.

@AndyMaherDFA Remarkable that Foxtel needed the Tax payer to chip in $30M to help them out yet were able to find billions for this deal.

@Foxtel it is very disappointing that as an existing customer of 12 years tenure for me to add the Sports bundle to my existing package would mean that I would be paying $20/mth more than the price offered to new customers ?!

@FlemishDog @pop_arena In 2000 Foxtel got rid of a few channels: they also got rid of the original CMT and replaced it with MusicCountry (a god damn awful ripoff of Max which played pop music). As well as replacing the format of Arena to a female skewed entertainment channel.

@whits106 Like who is actually attached to Foxtel? Most of us only have it because of NRL and will be off it straight up if another streaming service gets the rights.
