Simon Cozens 💎🚀🦍 (@SiCozens) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@joshgnosis @PRGuy17 CORRECTION: it costs me about $7 per year if we divide $1bn by 14.7m taxpayers. Pretty good value given Foxtel garbage costs at least $468 per year.
-
Longy (@TheOnlyLongy) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@fringeinoz @Foxtel @Channel7 I get it all the time with 7. Probably why I never watch any of their shows.

-
𝗗𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰 𝗖-𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 (PhD) 📺🎬🖥 (@marc_cscott) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia Yes have spoken more than 5 times. Coming to the house they say it’s fine, but appears to be 1 of the 2 wifi signals the router provides only gives very low speeds. The other is fine, but small distance. I’ll look at a different provider than @foxtel. Appalling customer support.
-
Anthony Leach (@ahleach) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@__Rounders__ @mattrfrancis Done that as well. When the Foxtel/NBN bloke came last time he told me I never needed to worry about the aerial socket again. And the aerial cable they provided isn't compatible with the Foxtel box.
-
Beefy@365DaysofSport (@365DaysofSport) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@Channel10AU go for a break (aaarrrggghhh) and @ValeYellow46 crashes. Their @MotoGP coverage is so poor. It's almost as if they want you to get Foxtel....... #MotoGPFoxSports #motogp

-
Aaron Smith (@Aaronsmith333) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@3AWNeilMitchell That is such a disingenuous question, and you know it. In any case, the issue is entirely around concentration. The issue is not that Murdoch owns The Australian or Herald Sun or Telegraph or Foxtel or Courier Mail. It’s that he owns all of them.
-
Tanya (@tigertufftanya) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@puntrdend17 @coachnoodles I confess to never having seen it. Is it on Netflix? Foxtel?

A NOISY AUSTRALIAN Always Was Always Will Be (@MelbFabulist) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@oxy1704 No. I’ll probably break my rules and get it on Foxtel though. Normally don’t reckon Australian fights worth it but I might get this one. Only thing is generally with Australian fights the undercard is pretty ****. Don’t know about this one
-

-
Rachel (@beetwoot) reported@FOXTEL_Help so apparently your live chat only works up to the point of saying “it’s still not working” and then they drop the chat.
-
Adam (@AdamTurbil38435) reported@Markedw For the SBS to outbid the likes of foxtel or Amazon . If a publicly funded network can outbid paid services.. maybe it should be looked at
-
Crowdiegal (@crowdiegal) reportedRealistically Nine are the only FTA TV network that maybe could afford the World Cup rights. Ten would have to partner with Foxtel. Seven...no way could they do it not with AFL, cricket and maybe NRL on their network...they would be paying a lot for all three sports just there.
-
X- Y Bailey 🇦🇺🇳🇿 🇨🇦🇩🇪🇮🇹 (@Bailey92035278) reported@EdSaint61 After channel nine just cut NBN news channel 9 don’t deserve any right to NRL rights I hope channel 7 gets it and Foxtel stays too **** channel 9
-
TheOncePokeGeek2004 🇦🇺 (@MaxFerro10) reportedYeah I remember this show on ABC back in the day it was one of those shows when you randomly brain-dead to change the channel or if it was **** all on telly on a weekend or a day your sick, **** even a public holiday and if you're too poor for Foxtel or Austar.
-
GrumpyOldDad.bsky.social (@BjWittwer) reported@xskinn Save your sanity. Screw Rupert Murdoch. Cancel anything through Foxtel, especially the fictional program “Sky News”. If you want something more factual than Sky News, I recommend Nieghbours, Home & Away, Days of our Lives, & importantly, Bluey. #SaveOurABC #FuckBillionaires
-
Stewart Noble (@Stewy_Noble) reportedYo Foxtel, every bloody time android updates you're way behind. Why am I paying a bill for a service I'm not receiving? I'm even on your beta test and you're still slow. I'm relying on your app on holiday ATM and nothing! #freebills @FOXTEL_Help

John Davidson (@johnnyddavidson) reportedReported in The Courier-Mail today: The NRL’s plan to save Super League could be on the brink of collapse in what would be a devastating blow for the English game. The ARLC has been investigating a Super League rescue package for the past year, but it’s understood UK broadcaster Sky Sports is reluctant to come to the party with a palatable deal to satisfy the NRL’s investment strategy. There are suggestions DAZN, which now owns Foxtel, could support a Super League rescue package after former NRL CEO Andrew Abdo travelled to the UK in April for Super League buyout talks. The Super League could be in trouble. Picture: Alex Livesey/Getty Images But V’landys says the Super League deal could hit a deadend. That would be a potentially fatal blow for an ailing English game which is drowning in debt. Super League giants St Helens lost $6.5m alone last year. “Look, we’re trying to make the figures work at the moment, but unless the figures work, we won’t do it,” he said. “We’re having trouble making the figures work, that’s the truth of it. “I don’t know what will happen. I find it very tough (to proceed with a purchase). “We need to talk further with Super League. We haven’t put a proposal into them yet. “We understand the importance of the international game, so we’re not giving up.”

Tom Garner (@tom_garner) reported“There might be a change in broadcasters” Reading in far too much: - “might” - All on Sky on table? - No BBC? Bad IMO - huge reach. Unless ITV want it to add to rugby pfolio - On Pay TV. DAZN? Owns Foxtel so aligned with NRL, but £26 pm. TNT? Not the same production quality

catherine (@CathP82) reported@lui_zacher The foxtel clock froze. The actual time clock was still counting down. So in the end it was explained last night of the coverage & no time was lost.
