  • Aaronsmith333
Aaron Smith (@Aaronsmith333) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@3AWNeilMitchell That is such a disingenuous question, and you know it. In any case, the issue is entirely around concentration. The issue is not that Murdoch owns The Australian or Herald Sun or Telegraph or Foxtel or Courier Mail. It’s that he owns all of them.

@andrewtiger9 @Telstra It is horrid. We had no Foxtel for over 24 hours because there was a fault with the Telstra cable it runs off.

$1.2 billion to compensate robodebt victims, $20,000 on Cartier watches and millions on his dud COVIDSafe app?” A surly Morrison delivered a one-word answer – “No” What’s good is the normally protective msm is giving these issues screen time, Foxtel’s Covid Channel especially

@RayRockyDog @Gizmobud @Foxtel Yep, the only way you can speak to someone here is to be quite rude and demand it. Or threaten to disconnect!

  • demon_dave
Dave Dawson (@demon_dave) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Foxtel changed to Murdoch’s Foxtel last week because it was supposed to be easier and cheaper than going through @Telstra , what a massive mistake, they never answer phones they’re the most inept bunch of corporate lackeys this side of @amazon

  • sportmeister_

@gorst_wright @RonniSalt @barriecassidy Lets not forget that most journalists R **** scared of Murdoch/LNP/RW power in Aust So journalists do what they R told by the Gov & No Argument Murdoch controls most of the large media outlets Inc the ABC Foxtel was paid14m$ to Save them & there is No Conflict of interest ?

  • BillieHill64
Ade (@BillieHill64) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@georgieparker @AndyMaherDFA @Foxtel You can cancel online. No waiting for hours, no being referred to an operator who will try and talk you out of it. Cancelling was the one of the best things I ever did.

  • CharlesRedman1
Charles Redman (@CharlesRedman1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

You just know when it says "Foxtel Original" it's going to be a bag of **** show.

  • CraiG_Mc
Craig McGill 🟥⬛️ (@CraiG_Mc) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@JonathanJWalsh @Kyptastic1 You know what would help i reckon, if kayo/Foxtel did what they do with there F1 coverage & allow us fans to choose what coverage & camera they want to see. So if you were at home & only wanted to see the behind the goals vision you record that and use for your video samples. 🤷🏻

  • pusherll
    odd ✮⋆˙。・゜・ (@pusherll) reported

also this was produced by the biggest australian television network yet it was no where to be found on streaming?? how does that work foxtel 🤨

  • realglenappleby
    Glen Appleby (@realglenappleby) reported

@LeagueFreak Kerry Packer believed you bid the maximum you can so if you loose to anyone else - you know they will be worst off than you. Foxtel knows it will lose half their subscriptions if they lose the NRL. And that means it will go broke because they already over paid for the AFL.

  • GusLefty
Gus Lefty Aussie Patriot (@GusLefty) reported

@NadiaWa35758056 Remembering at the time Murdoch Foxtel was a satellite 'service'. Murdoch did not want a good high speed internet as it would 'damage' his Foxtel

  • yoelmonaro
    yoelmonaro (@yoelmonaro) reported

Also btw wtf was the ticking sound @Foxtel in the first 18 mins of the Panthers v Tigers coverage?

  • CarlSparre
    Carl Raymond 🌞🌞🔋 (@CarlSparre) reported

@ruicharadrius Wifi here is like wifi anywhere, afaik. Perhaps you mean bandwidth. For that problem blame the government that thought fibre to premises was overkill. Turnbull, under the thumb of Murdoch who was protecting Foxtel. We don’t hate Murdoch enough.

  • julieburgess623
    Julie Burgess (@julieburgess623) reported

@Telstra for 5 days now we have been unable to watch Foxtel as our internet speed is 4.49 as per their consultant. We have contacted NBN who told us to contact Telstra. The person there said the problem is our modem which it is not. We need a solution please Telstra.

  • Matlock47825386
    Matlock (@Matlock47825386) reported

@filmgeek_rq Yep absolute **** show. Murdoch said you’ll kill Foxtel so don’t let fibre happen, so Abbott dutifully obliged said ‘25mbps’ was sufficient. We’ve wasted billions on this the original plan was clearly the way to go.

  • RaymondKeown3
    Raymond McKeown (@RaymondKeown3) reported

@Kate3015 Just like Foxtel, AGL, & others do, the broken English is so difficult to deal with most times

  • PeterD84508
    Peter Dewar (@PeterD84508) reported

@timritchie It was failed PM John Howard that sold off Telstra to the tax payers that already owned it. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....
