@YoAdrian101 @DrBlackVelvet I can’t remember for sure, but because Kayo is a streaming service it seems to have lots more stuff & documentaries than Foxtel ever did. It also has edited versions of stuff if you want to watch just the highlights. Plus split screen is pretty cool. Bathurst coverage was ace.

Watching a little Foxtel recap about the #AFLSaintsTigers game tonight, and I hear someone say “And then The King comes out and goes whack whack”, and a moment later I realise that ‘The King’ in this sentence is Richmond, and geez, I’ll never take this era for granted #GoTiges

@modwolfff Trouble with Foxtel is all the extras you need for a proper service. I’m lucky in that I don’t watch much TV these days. Call them and tell them you’re thinking of canceling and they should offer you a better deal for a while.

The EV lobby here is their own worst enemy. The road tax will cost $100-300 year, a bit more than Netflix, but a lot less than Foxtel. If you can buy a $60k car, you won’t even notice the tax. Claiming it’s a “major disincentive” is just nonsense.

@souwalker The airplay thing is what stops me from subscribing to MyFootball. If I want to watch it on my TV, I have to pony up for Foxtel/Kayo, and it’s more than I’m prepared to pay to just watch A League. Here’s hoping an independent league leads to a better solution in the future.

@pondsbane I've never gotten around to The Wire for the simple reason that it's not available on any streaming services. No HBO Max over here, so I suspect it'll be through *shudders* Foxtel. And screw paying for that.

"Coalition gives another $10m to Foxtel to boost women's sport on TV".....it must have been spent on a used handycam that's being operated by Bruce and his mate. I was pumped to see the W-League back, but the broadcast quality is awful. The women deserve better. /rant #BRIvMCY

@AnandWrites You would not enjoy living in Australia. Massive infrastructure project National Broadband Network was sabotaged by the government because Murdoch complained that it would compete with his Foxtel cable business. If you upset Rupert, his media monopoly grinds you into the dust.
