@Foxtel No I wasn’t. After two hours on the phone to account services & tech support I should be able to watch it if I can get the chrome cast on my tv to work, which it currently isn’t.

@perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

@sandylanceley @abcnews Agree streaming will be OK but foxtel has given up on customer service, I stopped ours last week and they couldn't have given a hoot, not concerned at all to loose an 18 year customer

@BrettGriffo I'm actually still with Foxtel (only just, on a basic + sports plan) but people have been saying for years they don't want to be paying for crap they don't watch. Worked when they had a monopoly on PayTv but the landscape has changed in recent years and they are paying the price.

@FOXTEL_Help IQ3 box has a fault, booked for next week. Cannot stream Foxtel via chrome cast because the icon isn’t appearing in the app. Was told my account would be able to use multiroom by 11am... still no success. Contacted tech support hour ago, they said they’d call back at 130... Nada

@Elia_Santoro I'm gobsmacked that people cannot draw the distinction between the fact that withdrawing support from a major partner (Foxtel) of the A-League in massive numbers was not going to have significant ramifications for the A-League🙄 Had this argument with some people 12 months ago.

@Foxtel down in speed 100/40 to 100/20 even for premium customers is bad. You lost me already. Along with me downsizing my foxtel selections. You go ahead and align while I find others who don’t align with the rest of the market. What a bullshit excuse you want to be the same.

Hey @Foxtel any chance of getting problems solved within say 15 mins. On the phone for over almost 1.5hrs to an offshore call centre and still no resolution. Now have to wait up to 2hrs for a "callback"! 10yr+ customer being bent over again!

my mother is really out here asking me to pay bills for amenities I dont use (I pay the home phone and foxtel) and pay half bills (I have no problem with this) AND pay half of repairs that need doing around the house but I am literally only allowed to keep my stuff in one room!!!

Love spending time redoing all the troubleshooting on my modem, repeatedly telling @Foxtel the thing is fried only to be told the issue can't be resolved (yeah, I know) and finally getting passed on to @Telstra because the thing is fried.

@Baligazette @Foxtel My current rate is about to expire and to be honest, I think we will just cancel. Kayo does sport, Netflix/Stan movies, drama and TV, Disney/Netflix for kids. Saves about $100 a month which is insane.

@grantedjohn @george73457918 Corporate Capitalism is the beneficiary from LNP/IPA policies. ABC cut, FOX funded NBN cut, FOXTEL benefitted and now broadcasts ABC into regions because the infrastructure is so bad. Public and Public Infrastructure suffers under LNP

Bloody hell - have checked and it is spam using the @Foxtel name although not them at all - 03 8325 0950 calling every half hour. They hang up as soon as you answer but research shows its a scam call
