Credit where it’s due. Thanks to @foxtel technician, Chris, who finally installed #Foxtel where I wanted it notwithstanding previous guy, Olly, not being bothered to chase cable down through wall. Shame I had to pay additional installation but happy to have it where I want it.

  • LordNPrior
Nicholas Prior (@LordNPrior) reported from Maitland, New South Wales

@TheCurbAU Because I use my parents Foxtel login

  • anthonywardley
Anthony Wardley (@anthonywardley) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@Old_Mate756 @Foxtel Did you fix this @old_mate756. I’ve got the same issue

  • nickintheworld
Nick Williams (@nickintheworld) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@FOXTEL_Help IQ3 box has a fault, booked for next week. Cannot stream Foxtel via chrome cast because the icon isn’t appearing in the app. Was told my account would be able to use multiroom by 11am... still no success. Contacted tech support hour ago, they said they’d call back at 130... Nada

  • gjblue
Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@samidowd @Foxtel Did the same myself last week, amazing response from their customer service team

  • ozziewiltshire
Oz. Pro Choice! (@ozziewiltshire) reported from Raymond Terrace, New South Wales

@marie19705 Paid Tv is choc full of ads too. I don't have Murdoch paid i.e foxtel either. **** Murdoch the lady* once said. Lol

  • Willlowtree4
William Low (@Willlowtree4) reported from Raymond Terrace, New South Wales

I don’t know who’s decision it was to no longer air @FallonTonight out here in Australia. Whether it was just @Foxtel or @jimmyfallon himself but whoever it was please fix this. #bringbackfallon

  • Canceratops
Sevan Costanza (@Canceratops) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@VitoCDoria @vhatelse @beINSPORTS_AUS @SerieA_EN @Foxtel I hope these disputes mean that Serie A rights are bought by @OptusSport. To just do a blackout by @beINSPORTS_AUS is ridiculous

  • josundq
josund (@josundq) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

    @WandererAnnie @RBReich @IrritatedAuntie ****, they’ve only gone and gifted Foxtel a lazy 10 million today

  • ajhill_alan
Alan Hill (@ajhill_alan) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

  • _Blessing
    B L E S S I N G (@_Blessing) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@sydney263 @Foxtel Not bad. Should be better but I am not complaining too much.

  • hecivan70
Ivan Hecimovic (@hecivan70) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@Elia_Santoro I'm gobsmacked that people cannot draw the distinction between the fact that withdrawing support from a major partner (Foxtel) of the A-League in massive numbers was not going to have significant ramifications for the A-League🙄 Had this argument with some people 12 months ago.

  • nickintheworld
Nick Williams (@nickintheworld) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@Foxtel No I wasn’t. After two hours on the phone to account services & tech support I should be able to watch it if I can get the chrome cast on my tv to work, which it currently isn’t.

  • MichaelJohnsen6
Michael With Two Y’s (@MichaelJohnsen6) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

Sick that @Foxtel are still charging full price even though a whole section of their service (sports package) isn’t playing what we all bought the package for. I don’t really expect much else from a company that puts ads on pay tv

  • hecivan70
Ivan Hecimovic (@hecivan70) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@BrettGriffo I'm actually still with Foxtel (only just, on a basic + sports plan) but people have been saying for years they don't want to be paying for crap they don't watch. Worked when they had a monopoly on PayTv but the landscape has changed in recent years and they are paying the price.

  • fat_lenny
Lenny (@fat_lenny) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@gjblue @samidowd @Foxtel Cancelled mine over 12 months ago. Customer of 15 years, all they cared about was getting their 15 year old box back. Glad to be gone

  • firewiredigital
Brogan - Firewire Digital (@firewiredigital) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

Look I know we all liked to watch the @aleaguemen on mute when it was on Foxtel but come on @ParamountPlusAU wtf is going on? #WSWvNEW

  • gjblue
Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales

@sandylanceley @abcnews Agree streaming will be OK but foxtel has given up on customer service, I stopped ours last week and they couldn't have given a hoot, not concerned at all to loose an 18 year customer

    mark macca 🐅🐅🏆 (@mcdonellaussie) reported

@Optus @alexblair_1 First thing I would check is Alex on Kayo or Foxtel? Everyone complains about Kayo I constantly have issues with Foxtel through the internet continuously buffering while my download speeds are in the 80s!

  • GusLefty
Gus Lefty Aussie Patriot (@GusLefty) reported

@NadiaWa35758056 Remembering at the time Murdoch Foxtel was a satellite 'service'. Murdoch did not want a good high speed internet as it would 'damage' his Foxtel

  • bimmyjartel
    Jan (@bimmyjartel) reported

@H_the_Strange @FOXTEL_Help And if you ring up you get someone from overseas who has no idea, offers you nothing and you get nowhere. If only there was another pay service to give them competition.

  • bimmyjartel
    Jan (@bimmyjartel) reported

@Pivotonian1838 @10 @FOXFOOTY Ditto. Foxtel is becoming quite dear. We'll hang onto it because of the footy but they don't reward you for being loyal.

  • eskimo2708
    Steven Hing (@eskimo2708) reported

@Tuxy81 Same as foxtel. Just tried to cancel

  • JasonR69737
    Jason robert (@JasonR69737) reported

@SoundingBoardEp @DrinkWiseAus Would the AFL be secretly hoping that Foxtel retain the broadcast rights to the NRL given that it's foreign ownership would have to consider the network's future if it lost the NRL?

  • ianclarkeAU
    Ian Clarke (@ianclarkeAU) reported

@GusLefty @AJG71 @karlstefanovic QED. This ALP fool doesn’t know Foxtel rolled out and paid for a cable network for far less $/ customer than the NBN. Foxtel: ~$800–$1,100 per premise. NBN: $2,000–$2,750+ per premise.

  • THighgate11
    T Highgate (@THighgate11) reported

@LeagueScenePod NRL won’t go for this. V’landys has said numorous times that he wants $4 billion for 5 years. This offer is $4 billion for 7 years which is worst than what the current AFL deal is. Foxtel needs this deal more than the NRL at this stage.

  • mcnamara_team
    The Steps (@mcnamara_team) reported

@clarke3110 @bondiroosters Yep, Kayo is just the revamped Foxtel rip off. The AFL and NRL have let down the supporters, won’t be long until the attendance to games drops because the general lack of interest is.

@ausbtcclub We get absolutely **** all for working hard here in Oz. I had job and separate business with mates. Struggled for 8 years and everyone made money from the business except us. Electricity, Gas, Foxtel, wages, rent, rates, tax, gst, employee super. @mrYodaJ @fiftyshadezof1
