-
josund (@josundq) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@WandererAnnie @RBReich @IrritatedAuntie ****, they’ve only gone and gifted Foxtel a lazy 10 million today
-
Alan Hill (@ajhill_alan) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.
-
William Low (@Willlowtree4) reported from Raymond Terrace, New South WalesI don’t know who’s decision it was to no longer air @FallonTonight out here in Australia. Whether it was just @Foxtel or @jimmyfallon himself but whoever it was please fix this. #bringbackfallon
-
Sevan Costanza (@Canceratops) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@VitoCDoria @vhatelse @beINSPORTS_AUS @SerieA_EN @Foxtel I hope these disputes mean that Serie A rights are bought by @OptusSport. To just do a blackout by @beINSPORTS_AUS is ridiculous
-
Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@sandylanceley @abcnews Agree streaming will be OK but foxtel has given up on customer service, I stopped ours last week and they couldn't have given a hoot, not concerned at all to loose an 18 year customer
-
Nicholas Prior (@LordNPrior) reported from Maitland, New South Wales@TheCurbAU Because I use my parents Foxtel login
-
Ivan Hecimovic (@hecivan70) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Elia_Santoro I'm gobsmacked that people cannot draw the distinction between the fact that withdrawing support from a major partner (Foxtel) of the A-League in massive numbers was not going to have significant ramifications for the A-League🙄 Had this argument with some people 12 months ago.
-
Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@samidowd @Foxtel Did the same myself last week, amazing response from their customer service team
-
Oz. Pro Choice! (@ozziewiltshire) reported from Raymond Terrace, New South Wales@marie19705 Paid Tv is choc full of ads too. I don't have Murdoch paid i.e foxtel either. **** Murdoch the lady* once said. Lol
-
Ivan Hecimovic (@hecivan70) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@BrettGriffo I'm actually still with Foxtel (only just, on a basic + sports plan) but people have been saying for years they don't want to be paying for crap they don't watch. Worked when they had a monopoly on PayTv but the landscape has changed in recent years and they are paying the price.
-
Lenny (@fat_lenny) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@gjblue @samidowd @Foxtel Cancelled mine over 12 months ago. Customer of 15 years, all they cared about was getting their 15 year old box back. Glad to be gone
-
Nick Williams (@nickintheworld) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@FOXTEL_Help IQ3 box has a fault, booked for next week. Cannot stream Foxtel via chrome cast because the icon isn’t appearing in the app. Was told my account would be able to use multiroom by 11am... still no success. Contacted tech support hour ago, they said they’d call back at 130... Nada
-
Leoni Freeman (@AuntyLF) reported from Newcastle, New South WalesCredit where it’s due. Thanks to @foxtel technician, Chris, who finally installed #Foxtel where I wanted it notwithstanding previous guy, Olly, not being bothered to chase cable down through wall. Shame I had to pay additional installation but happy to have it where I want it.
-
Michael With Two Y’s (@MichaelJohnsen6) reported from Newcastle, New South WalesSick that @Foxtel are still charging full price even though a whole section of their service (sports package) isn’t playing what we all bought the package for. I don’t really expect much else from a company that puts ads on pay tv
-
Nick Williams (@nickintheworld) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Foxtel No I wasn’t. After two hours on the phone to account services & tech support I should be able to watch it if I can get the chrome cast on my tv to work, which it currently isn’t.

TheTopMostDog 🇦🇺🐕🦺🏕️🎣🔫🪓🥩 (@TheTopMostDog) reported@Foxtel Mum is still paying $90/mo for this ****. I've almost convinced her to let it go. The value just isn't there anymore since competition ramped up. She could pay for half a dozen streaming platforms for that much. Unless you change, you'll die along with your last subscribers.
-
bndt (@banditkayfabe) reportedThe audio on Kayo sounds awful and hollow but the audio on Foxtel is ok. What is going on thought my TV was playing up #AFLTigersHawks
-
Gavin Shaw (@gavshaw69) reported@Foxtel What is considered a new customer? Someone who has never had Foxtel before. Someone who has not had Foxtel directly with Foxtel for over 10 years?
-
Stonkin Days (@n0otherwaythere) reported@craigspeculator @Foxtel You can’t expect service workers to do emotional Labor. They’d get these calls all day. Personally I as a customer would prefer they keep it cold.
-
Edie Wyatt (@msediewyatt) reportedKaralee Katsambanis has blocked me on Instagram, but my complaint is in with Sky via Foxtel who is my streaming platform. If they don’t respond I will be lodging a complaint with ACMA. She could just apologise.
-
Lewis Jones (@LewisJones38831) reportedAUSTRLIAN FOXTEL DOWN CANT WATCH THE SHOW WHAT ******** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Dariyen Jones (@DetroitLemons99) reported@Sheiknbake1313 @kanecornes @Colvick Old mate in the rugby league PVL loves tv ratings its all they have, and fair play they were able to convince foxtel and the like to pay a stupid amount of money to air 20 ppl in a stadium watching it
-
Cossie23 (@cossum23) reported@7AFL Do yourselves a favour …. Watch an episode of “On the couch” on Monday at 7:30am @Foxtel @kayosports AND then watch this 💩 Result = You will never watch Agenda Setters again
-
Paul Morris (@thefireman08) reported@craigspeculator @Foxtel Telstra aren’t much better. My mum had a mobile plan with them and hardly used. Something they could see from the monthly bills. In care because of dementia they insisted she would have to ring to cancel the plan.

Scott (Human) - 𐌃𐌏ᖇ𐌉乙乙𐌃𐌕 (@Dorizzdt) reported**** this, I'm going out today to spend $3k on a media setup. I'm going back to just pirating TV/Movies. It's not because I am not willing to pay, its I am tired of paying subscription services and having everything so fragmented and being Nickel and Dimed by the services. When we worked on HD Streaming in the 2000's we set the foundation up for the industry to make video possible more easier. Even back then convincing Hollywood / TV Networks to abandon physical media for streaming was a huge undertaking in itself. They just were ******* in contracts with the creators of content and couldn't find a way to make online work. Fast forward 20 years later and this is the **** we end up with. It literally is just easier to pirate than its to keep doing this. atm I pay for: HBO Max Stan FoxTel Primewire Paramount Netflix Disney+ BritTv (i forgot to cancel the trial fml) AppleTV+ Its about $160 a month AUD I can't find half the **** i want to watch and the stuff that I want to watch is full of ads, or you have to then pay extra ontop. I'm out. stfu ... I'ma use AI to setup a complete end to end media experience.
