July 2 and so Foxtel Now has had a brain-snap and all-of-a-sudden decides that at 7pm on a Saturday I need to start this whole login/password process anew to prove to them who I am. And they wonder why people cancel subscriptions for their overpriced service.

@resadude @Foxtel @ACurrentAffair9 Whoa! Now listen, I’m no fan of Rupert but to be fair to Foxtel - she accidentally overpaid them! And the process is so automated, I’m sure it just switched automatically to credit - would’ve been the same if she overpaid them $6! We’re just looking for help getting it back :)

@jessmcguire @Foxtel My mum cancelled Foxtel but they only did it for 1y. Mum thought it was permanent and didn't realize that it restated because she didn't use it . Many months of paying for nothing until she realized they didn't help her at all.

@OzGeek68 @Foxtel She overpaid them, they didn’t overcharge her. It’s a mistake on our end but I’m hoping they’ll be kind given the circumstances and help me sort it out swiftly without spending hours on the phone :)

Really appreciate everyone’s support, but no need to keep RTing this or getting mad at Foxtel, their social media team have done their jobs & made contact with me & the ball is rolling & no one is mad at each other, all resolved now!
