@evilscootus Possibly, but I think 2 other reasons: 1) AFL remained FTA. Shield crowds died the second it went to Foxtel 2) Aus cricket fans are most arrogant in the world. They only turn up to Aus vs Eng or India. I loathe it. It has sent my "support whoever's playing Aus" through the roof

@egarciapress @SupercarsAr Sucks cos id love to watch 2015 as i didnt have foxtel then and was the first year they werent all on fta. Thats why the races from foxtel befor there were allowed to go u i suspect fox didnt car since they aired earlier on fta

I wrote down all the movies I want to watch for Christmas over Foxtel and I found when I counted them all there were 40 movies all in total and I started watching them from this morning already so let’s how many I can watch by Christmas Day.

Trying to deal with anti-customer attitude of @Foxtel a never-ending frustration

  • pekwat Pekwat (@pekwat) reported

@arceniy @scroogecapital How would you treat the Foxtel debt? Seems that News Corp HoldCo has $2bn of notes and ~$1.3bn of cash. They treat the Foxtel equity and inter company loan as a News Corp asset. How do you view it?

  • pekwat Pekwat (@pekwat) reported

@arceniy @scroogecapital Yeah, ultimately 15x or 18x and Foxtel debt all irrelevant unless they are willing to do something to close the gap to NAV. Buying back stock was a good start, but too slow.

  • arceniy arceniy (@arceniy) reported

@scroogecapital broadly agree on the thesis, don't agree on the multiples and ND treatment (think they only account for NewsCorp debt since Foxtel is non recourse?). Problem with SOTP/NAV discount is that it never works unless really spinned-off/sold
