@JayPeeterman @Optus A few years back took up an internet bundle through Foxtel, worst we’ve ever had, constantly dropping out and unable to reconnect , really frustrating, went back to Telstra, more costly but no problems since👍

@Michael91149039 @WWEGareth Foxtel is usually something that is paid for by families so it's in most people's homes growing up, on top of that just in general it's used by most Australians. Oh I wonder why it costs more maybe because it's 100's of channels compared to a little streaming service no one knows

@bigjsl @netflix Still got the physical newspaper sheet with my letter to the editor when Foxtel started running ads. Their subscription model is broken. Now if you use internet as the delivery path you’re paying to stream ads. #NoThankYou

AFL sell the tv rights for $4.5bn to Foxtel, Telstra and Seven Network. When Foxtel commenced, Telecom had to underwrite every subscription for $250 per subscriber. We had Universal Service Obligations. Now it’s user pays. The rich get richer, and we poor pay. ICAC Now!!

@7_commentary Carey ****** up so bad that rather than removing him from his role at channel 7 the AFL just took the whole game away from 7 (and Foxtel) and gave it to channel 9 (and Stan).
