Holy **** Foxtel are showing season 5 of Junior Bake Off and Iโ€™m beyond excited as I got emotionally invested when it was on air in England in November 2019 and I never got to finish it ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ TODAY IS A GOOD DAY

@Telstra Confusion over Telstra/Foxtel responsibility is an issue. When instructed to call Telstra by Foxtel, the T rep put me on hold โ€œto look into itโ€ & suddenly I found myself transferred to a F rep, more confused than I was. Why is this all so unnecessarily complicated?

@NBN_Australia Yes have spoken more than 5 times. Coming to the house they say itโ€™s fine, but appears to be 1 of the 2 wifi signals the router provides only gives very low speeds. The other is fine, but small distance. Iโ€™ll look at a different provider than @foxtel. Appalling customer support.

  • BillieHill64
Ade (@BillieHill64) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@YoAdrian101 @DrBlackVelvet I canโ€™t remember for sure, but because Kayo is a streaming service it seems to have lots more stuff & documentaries than Foxtel ever did. It also has edited versions of stuff if you want to watch just the highlights. Plus split screen is pretty cool. Bathurst coverage was ace.

  • tigertufftanya
Tanya (@tigertufftanya) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Gizmobud @RayRockyDog @Foxtel I just signed up for the trial. And yep, as a Telstra customer I can get a discount ๐Ÿ‘

$1.2 billion to compensate robodebt victims, $20,000 on Cartier watches and millions on his dud COVIDSafe app?โ€ A surly Morrison delivered a one-word answer ยญโ€“ โ€œNoโ€ Whatโ€™s good is the normally protective msm is giving these issues screen time, Foxtelโ€™s Covid Channel especially

  • SiCozens
Simon Cozens ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿš€๐Ÿฆ (@SiCozens) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@joshgnosis @PRGuy17 CORRECTION: it costs me about $7 per year if we divide $1bn by 14.7m taxpayers. Pretty good value given Foxtel garbage costs at least $468 per year.

  • PaulLenkic
Paul Lenkic (@PaulLenkic) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

My iQ5 has gone crazy. All of a sudden, itโ€™s not detecting the Hard Drive and itโ€™s not responding to the remote control. Super annoying when the person on live help chat closes the conversation before resolving anything. @Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help

  • Kutiel_
    K u t i e l (@Kutiel_) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@WestCoastEagles Sounds like a good game, however, supporters on the east coast canโ€™t watch as both Foxtel and Kayo livestreams are downโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ™„

  • tigertufftanya
Tanya (@tigertufftanya) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Richmondman04 @Foxtel A big waste of money is what it is. $124 a month... it stopped working tonight, and they tell us they can't fix it until the 18th of November.

  • thatbro83

  • MelbFabulist
A NOISY AUSTRALIAN Always Was Always Will Be (@MelbFabulist) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@oxy1704 No. Iโ€™ll probably break my rules and get it on Foxtel though. Normally donโ€™t reckon Australian fights worth it but I might get this one. Only thing is generally with Australian fights the undercard is pretty ****. Donโ€™t know about this one

@kayosports how do you expect people who live in remote Australia to be able to watch any live sports? These restrictions are absolutely ridiculous and anti consumer. The only way I can watch anything that Kayo has access to is by paying full price to a Foxtel service box?????

  • mcdonellaussie
    mark macca ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ† (@mcdonellaussie) reported

@Optus @alexblair_1 First thing I would check is Alex on Kayo or Foxtel? Everyone complains about Kayo I constantly have issues with Foxtel through the internet continuously buffering while my download speeds are in the 80s!

  • Possum2412
    Fred ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ (@Possum2412) reported

@JonesPam7777 @OMGTheMess Kinda sorta bloody oath. I got my pay rise, I'll be paying $22k in tax plus all the other taxes and council rates and water rates and electricity. Then I pay for Foxtel and internet and mobile phone. And then have to eat. And I don't live in a city. Poor people who do.

  • Mehyouthink
    Scott Patten (@Mehyouthink) reported

@footyindustryAU I reckon stays at kayo/foxtel. Look what happened to A-League and Rugby when they left. You never see them on pub tvs anymore. I mean the deal for that might not be worth it but for eyes on product?

  • biscuitman007
    Biscuitman (@biscuitman007) reported

@Hugh_96 @balumbah I agree, as there's no accountability in RA. You can fail and fail again, and no transparency. My view is that 3 years after the RWC, when the money runs out, Foxtel will buy rugby for peanuts. Only then will it get fixed.

  • hinterland33
    Leigh (@hinterland33) reported

@sportandracing @AussieNinerGuy @footyindustryAU Um Yes AFL broadcast agreement with the Seven Network & Foxtel includes built-in annual indexation Compound Growth: The contract features an in-built indexation rate, which represents a compound annual growth rate of about 3.6% for the rights fees over the life of the agreement

@vanOnselenP I wasn't poking fun at you just using a factual example . If this game was on Foxtel / ABC its a non issue .
