Just received my bill 3 weeks after this two hour phone call. Still no credit processed. My @Foxtel service is still active and I’m being continuing to be charged even though they confirmed it’s been cancelled twice. @Telstra #useless

Hi @Foxtel I need to cancel my subscription. My wife’s lost her job. I’m about to be stood down with no pay. The only way to cancel is by calling. Yet you can’t get through. You need to set up another way to cancel. I’m going to have to cancel my credit card so I’m not charged.

@PatrickDelany you could do your @foxtel call centre's a favour and allow people to change/downgrade their packages or cancel their service online. Over 1 hour and still waiting is a joke. Your email communications aren't helping at all either.

@GlennHampson They’d make more money to sell it into different regions separately, like Australia sell to Foxtel, India to HotStar etc. If they sold to a service like Netflix, it’s a single sell for international rights, which then competes with their own platform.

One aspect I miss previously owning a DVD store is suggesting an old movie to a customer and then they would return it and claim, ‘that was awesome’ (In Australia) Stan, Netflix, FOXTEL, Disney+, Prime, etc cannot do that

@monica_2978 I watched a show on foxtel the other day. It showed the transformation of China into a modern society. I couldn't help to compare against Australia. We do not make stuff but instead dig up raw materials for them to make stuff. We are slowly turning into an economic 3rd world
