@FanParanoid @NetballAust The government rule of must go to free to air first has been dumped? It sounds like Nine are disappointed to lose it. After all their support of netball for the last 5yrs. Also lose a lot of viewers with the new deal. Lots won’t sign up to Foxtel/Kayo. I won’t.

@NetballAust Disappointing day for fans who’ve stuck by the sport through the years. People are dropping foxtel for a reason, it’s biased, expensive, ad-filled garbage which most households can’t afford. This will be the death of the sport. I saw it happen with the NBL which never recovered.

@jkalbrechtsen @australian We need to stop the steady flow of money from #auspol to News Corp. The $40M in Foxtel “support” payments are a joke

@mvmsdazza @ScottMorrisonMP Come on - be fair. He also gave a big pile of taxpayer’s hard-earned to Rupert’s Foxtel. The poor bugger was down to his last crillion dollars and had the arse out of his Armani duds. Plus it cost him heaps to fly to the UK to jump the queue and get his COVID shot...

@sarahinthesen8 Lol at Foxtel saying these were "1-off incidents". Plural. Do they not understand that one-off suggests only 1 incident, not multiple on the same broadcast?

I hate that Foxtel getting broadcasting rights means more money into competitions and clubs, which is great, but less accessibility and exposure on FTA for the majority of us who can't afford Foxtel or even just Kayo. It sucks.

@Telstra The fact watching AFL/NRL now use up data and customers have to pay extra on top their plan sounds like a bad deal for consumers. But be interesting to see how much Telstra shareholders benefit considering Telstra co owner of Foxtel isn’t competing against itself anymore.
