@BigOtrivia ARL won the battle SL or Murdoch won the war. Foxtel thrived Optus Vision died but were able 2 establish themselves as 2nd biggest telco In Aus. Was never about RL was about pay TV & Telecommunications. Set RL back by 20 yrs, AFL became national RL still East Coast sport.

@theage @acccgovau Ever since Federal Government said every premise needed to have access to landline phone &/or offered an alternative method by telcos to call in emergencies: Telstra have milked it for what It's worth & stopped selling Standalone Internet Plans to also help them bundle Foxtel etc

@HTired89 Are they part of Foxtel? That would explain the programming. I had so many issues with shows buffering or error messages. I don't even remember cancelling it but even if I did, you'd think you'd get to finish your free trial.

@kayosports_help I appreciate the response- never get anything from Foxtel. Asked them the same question a few days back. Maybe time to cancel Foxtel.
