@jasonandrade @Channel7 Thank goodness my commercial Televison signal was disabled by Foxtel years ago and never reinstated

@JennyENicholson In Australia, at least, Netflix became an overnight success because people were sick of paying exorbitant prices for cable via Foxtel. They got their foot in the door by being a better service than Murdoch and a safer service than piracy. Aus piracy plummeted. Now here we are.

@glover_billie @ArtistAffame Um no, think of Centrelink like a bank. Foxtel would never let you get to the point you owe them 7k.

@FOXTEL_Help Hi I filled out a form complaint form to change my package and no one got back to me at all. Premium can't afford to pay for Platinum anymore

@KiwiFunknuckle If it's any consolation, F1 and MotoGP will NOW be shown on FTA channel 10. Foxtel had to bend to the governments rules about FTA coverage. All races. Woohoo! No more Kayo crap

@ZenqaCOD @binge I don’t want foxtel, I want the service I’m paying for to be at the market standard. Why would I want to install dedicated hardware and spend more than I want to on packages that I don’t care about just so I can have an equivalent experience to literally any other streamer?

foxtel’s streaming service doesn’t work super well a lot of the time but it has some of hbo’s stuff so at least i don’t have to get binge 😩

@AlboMP Will it though. What if the big streamers say not worth it and end up pulling out of Australia and we are back to only FTA or FTA and Foxtel. What an awful consumer outcome that will be. Hopefully sense will prevail during consultation.
