@couch_specimen @MrKRudd The issue here is that the government could have given the ABC money to get the rights directly. Instead taxpayer money went to Foxtel to produce the content and then the ABC used taxpayer to buy the broadcast from Foxtel. Taxpayers paid twice. That is the double dip.

@DavidPZone1 Except cancelling a Telstra service but only topped by canceling a Foxtel service.

@realnickelass @gen_eisenfaust @RealLucyLawless We don't get it all all here Down Under. Foxtel played it on cable a while back and the free to air TV did also but that's it for us. DVDs for me all the way.

@chrisfullalove @KlausBremner @drvyom If the commercial network is Foxtel, it comes from taxpayers pockets, or the ABC budget

@MrKRudd I am SO outraged by this. I love our ABC and cannot understand why FOXTEL should be given any support

Is anyone else watching channel 7 and putting up with adds during the big bash Renegades v Strikers because you would rather listen to Flemo hodgie and JB instead of listening to Simonds talk crap on Foxtel 🙉
