I shifted to Fetch. Check them and other alternatives out. Fetch is $6 a month - no contract, ultra hi-res (no Foxtel 1990s resolution!) - I have no connection to Fetch other than being a customer but how the heck can @Foxtel charge 4 times more for their inferior service?

@wittysone @danbrettig I expect all Test cricket to be on Foxtel/Kayo, it sucks that this series is not.

@swearyanthony @GrogsGamut They shake us all down and give it to Foxtel. This law just cuts out the middle man.

@joshgnosis Why did you fail to qualify this with the actual fact that over 64% of metropolitan circulation is Murdoch? Because dead trees don't matter any more? (though, nice to pretend that)... how about how our NBN was crippled to appease Foxtel? Just going to stenographer this ****? K.

@kooim00 @Foxtel this is a bad take in my opinion. boxing in a much more dangerous sport as referees let fighters continue after they've been dropped if they can survive the 10 count. while there are bad stoppages in mma, most of the time, its stopped pretty quickly after a fighter is out

@alexmakin @australia_wake Fair enough. The part I find off is we don't seem to pay the same attention to the other monopiles and duopolies in Australia. Coles / Woolworth, Newscorp in QLD, Foxtel etc. So is this because the media benefit and can drive it? Or because it's that much bigger an issue.

@Wallen001 @Foxtel Just think it contributes to the attitude that it is OK to kick someone when they are down. Used to love boxing until it became clear about the dangers of blows to the head.
