@rtralphy Well besides that… the resolution was atrocious - replay on Foxtel later on was crystal clear, but watching live, channel 7 through Foxtel looked rubbish, it was hurting my eyes.

@theage It had nothing to do with the time. It was the incredibly average coverage and the constant blurriness of the telecast. Cringey commentary doesn’t help but when Channel 7’s advertisements are in HD but the footy is nothing close, what is the point? Foxtel’s 4K craps all over it.

@AGissara ratings disaster because can only watch on 7. IF Foxtel were able to broadcast the game the figures would be far better. How is SEN116 going by the way? never listened.

Always watch my footy on Foxtel. Had to record GF on 7. Watched 1st qrt replay when got back from game Ads ads ads. 😡 Seven ruined their coverage. Never missed a chance to interupt the game. #AFLGF

as a kid i grew up with foxtel and watching disney channel n nickelodeon, but when we moved houses for the first 3 months i watched abc 3 wallahi that **** was ghetto i cried to my hoyo

@Foxtel Useless! I finally subscribe to Foxtel and go to watch AFL grand final and can’t because it’s in free to air! WTF? I have no free to air connection and fox sports covers the grand final!!!

@agerealfooty @rpjward Thought it was just my tv but the vision was shocking at times, i usually watch the games on foxtel and geez the quality was poor. No doubt after first 15 mins all us neutrals switched off. Need better commentators… Whately & Huddo on the radio sooo much better. Change needed

@1116sen I think next year Foxtel/Kayo will be able to broadcast it with their own commentators. As long as none of the horrible C7 commentators move to Foxtel, that will be heaven. No more BT & Brayshaw.
