Alex Sar #DonTheSash (@alexmatthewsar) reported@NetballAust Well done to Netball Australia for a historic TV Rights Deal with the Nine Network for the next Five years and taking it off Foxtel.
-
Chris. ⚓️ (@mr_chitafa) reported@thedannorris @hawthornzone @kayosports Can always pay twice as much and buy a Foxtel subscription. But just a warning. You’ll get the same service.
-
JAMpresident (@JAMpresident) reported@HostShinyoku @LesniakAndrew42 @kazakura_22 Game of Thrones is a great example. When it was on air, Australia was a massive pirate of the show. People were downloading torrents. Why? Because the only way to watch was with a ******* Foxtel subscription (cable TV contract). Everyone said **** that.
-
LeTigre (@LeTigre_12) reportedCan Foxtel turn down Garry Lyons microphone? He does not shut up
-
Mark Fawcett (@mfawcett1977) reported@Tuxy81 These streaming companies will never learn. Prices here in Australia are more than the Foxtel everybody replaced them with. Streaming was meant to be cheaper than cable, but here we are.
-
kristen (@_kjerkovich) reported@Foxtel can you please fix your Kayo Minis and full replay for the Freo v Hawks game last night?? Having only the 2min Sportsbet Preview available to stream is poor form 20+ hrs later!!!
-
Trent Steel (@TAStanton2323) reported@lauren_vasiliou Have dealt with them a lot, one thing that’s scary is they have no fear, not of police, not scared of consequences. Because the worst they get is Aussie jail for a bit, and that’s 3 hot meals a day, gym and Foxtel.
-
Joe Friday (@sunbakingwombat) reported@hashjenni Foxtel is garbage now, they keep replaying the same crappy movies in a loop.
-
John Rheinberger (@RheinbergerJohn) reported@gavin_laing Streaming rights- both live and highlights -are more important than ever. Nine would like to retain (or gain) some exclusivity for live telecasts as Foxtel regularly beats it for viewers when games are simultaneously broadcast. Its product is that bad (put it down to commentary)

Gary Stainton (@staintong) reported@matt__nicholls Perhaps DAZN's strategy is just to run out the existing contracts while DAZN pockets the subscription and advertising revenue, then eventually shut Kayo/ Foxtel down.
