2/2 In a chat with an older neighbour about the outage she said that she had also been called and was worried about it. So it seems the Internet Foxtel outage details are being ‘mined’ to zero in on the vulnerable. #parasites

So we’ve had a @FOXTEL_Help @Telstra cable outage all week long and it’s annoying. More annoying has been a sudden increase in scam landline calls from “Your Telstra” urging me to add code to my PC to fix it. 1/2

@FOXTEL_Help Yes. But please change training for call centre staff - there should be different scripts depending on the reason for a cancellation. It’s ridiculous asking a 90 year old with dementia if they want to continue with the service. Happy to take a call and discuss.

@jillastark Sky News U.K. are the best rolling U.K. news service available in Aus but you need Foxtel. It’s nothing like Aussie Sky News! BBC is available too but it’s not the domestic channel so isn’t nearly as exciting.
