@clarkycj I feel like this could be the plot to a very bad Christopher Nolan movie. Probably a Foxtel exclusive.

  • yinyangman69 Sir Render Monkey (@yinyangman69) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

I got a free trial of Foxtel (**** you, Murdoch) so I could watch Mr Inbetween, Our Flag Means Death & Selling Houses Australia. Pitch a show at me.

@mrtonymartin The only thing keeping foxtel afloat is federal funding, the only thing keeping the smirking idiot in office is News Ltd acting as as his PR firm

  • DebSpillane DebbieSpillane (@DebSpillane) reported

@cheryl_kernot As I’ve said before, if you have Foxtel for sport (as I did until recently) you’re effectively paying 3 times. You’re paying Murdoch directly (through the nose at a stupid price btw), and then your taxes are paying Murdoch and for the ABC to pay Murdoch. Good system, eh?

  • lucydufty Lucy Dufty (@lucydufty) reported

@FOXTEL_Help I pushed the power button for 10 seconds and I tried recording the program but I’m getting the same message. It’s also unrecorded it after I record ‘this episode’ It’s never done this before. I’ve always been able to record it.

@Melissa42487714 @corybernardi @SkyNewsAust Oooh thanks for the heads up. So much choice. FOXTEL and it’s entire platform is just CRAP. Reality TV and Sky. Yuck.

  • scrumblebum1 Mark (@scrumblebum1) reported

@FOXTEL if I have to log in one more time this week you can cancel my subscription. Bloody useless.

  • WurthWouter Wouter Wurth (@WurthWouter) reported

@MrKRudd The best way to kill Murdock businesses, NewsCord, Foxtel , Sky, SMH, Australian. is by shutting down all service provided by him and affiliates. You will be surprised how much money you save apart from doing a good deed. Scrutinise what you subscribe to.

  • monkey_brennan the grinch who stole Steve Smith’s hands (@monkey_brennan) reported

@AhanCricket Kayo sports (Foxtel online sports service) & VPN might work? Will need to pay about 25AUD for Kayo but can often get a 30 free trial. That would see you through the tests

  • JoshuaGannon17 Joshua Gannon (@JoshuaGannon17) reported

@couch_specimen @MrKRudd The issue here is that the government could have given the ABC money to get the rights directly. Instead taxpayer money went to Foxtel to produce the content and then the ABC used taxpayer to buy the broadcast from Foxtel. Taxpayers paid twice. That is the double dip.

  • TheDanBarrett Dan Barrett (@TheDanBarrett) reported

@beeso No, the complaint was about the double dipping. But these are two different deals, with at least one of them standard business practice. Should people be appalled at Foxtel getting grants to broadcast sports behind a pay wall? Certainly. But the ABC has to film games somehow.

  • 2021Tweets 🖤 🕷 2021 🕷 🖤 (@2021Tweets) reported

@MrKRudd Morrison's paying Murdoch with our money that he cut from the ABC to help fund favourable press from the Murdoch media. #ScottyFromMarketing is as cunning as a sh*thouse rat. #Foxtel
