@AusAntiLeft We moved April 2019 & there was an issue with the Foxtel service moving over immediately due to NBN connection- long story short I had a bundle thing, anyway couldn’t be bothered with waiting so cancelled it. I don’t even miss it, plus I save an exorbitant 70 bucks a month!

  • NicolaS83964625 antheriumgirl (@NicolaS83964625) reported

@AusAntiLeft Ditched Netflix and and Stan. Never bothered with Foxtel.

@FOXTEL_Help Hi there, just have a question, on my IQ the red light isn’t showing. I’ve restarted the box, is this an issue with the box?

  • JoshuaGannon17 Joshua Gannon (@JoshuaGannon17) reported

@couch_specimen @MrKRudd The issue here is that the government could have given the ABC money to get the rights directly. Instead taxpayer money went to Foxtel to produce the content and then the ABC used taxpayer to buy the broadcast from Foxtel. Taxpayers paid twice. That is the double dip.

  • jasonatutty70 jasonatutty (@jasonatutty70) reported

@Foxtel HEY FOXTEL, MAYBE DON’T PLAY THE MADE FOR TV VERSION OF “BOWFINGER” YOU KNOW, THE ONE THAT DOESN’T DROP TO BLACK FOR COMMERCIALS EVERY 12 MINS. YOU KNOW, ACTUALLY GIVE ME WHAT I PAY FOR? #foxtel #service #seriously

  • chrisede_au C:\hris (@chrisede_au) reported

With all of these streaming services (Discovery is launching theirs tomorrow) maybe Foxtel / cable wasn't a bad deal after all. Or pirating. Just do pirating.

  • TheDanBarrett Dan Barrett (@TheDanBarrett) reported

@beeso No, the complaint was about the double dipping. But these are two different deals, with at least one of them standard business practice. Should people be appalled at Foxtel getting grants to broadcast sports behind a pay wall? Certainly. But the ABC has to film games somehow.

  • sarahmagarey Sarah Magarey (@sarahmagarey) reported

@Telstra No, but I've seen multiple websites reporting foxtel issues since thunderstorm an hour or so ago. We purchase our foxtel through you. Can you please advise?

  • IrritatedAuntie Auntie VS Evil (@IrritatedAuntie) reported

@sarahinthesen8 How does keeping womens sport behind pay wall tv network help promote it? Women earn less than men. They are less likely to be able to afford Foxtel. End result - this keeps woman's sport away from women.

  • scrumblebum1 Mark (@scrumblebum1) reported

@FOXTEL_Help Never works. If it goes again I'm leaving my subscription.
