  @craigspeculator @Foxtel Sorry for your loss Craig. I am working through my mum’s huge pile of paper to find out what needs paying and cancelling. Worst so far is her lawyer who was incredibly rude and refused to share her will without her death certificate despite me being the executor.

  @footyindustryAU Foxtel price is at its absolute limit - can’t be jacked. If they didn’t get NRL it was an insta cancel. Now they have so few of the sports it’s no longer a one stop shop it’s a different equation.

  @OMGTheMess Hahaha. Yeah televise women’s sport. That was proven to be bs. That’s what they ‘claimed’ it was for. And estimates proved not a single additional women’s sport was televised. Also Foxtel never even asked for the money or reported what they did with it. $40m given away.

  @TopherField I have a conspiratorial hypothesis that may interest you regarding NBN The backbone of the Australian military communications at home was a rotting copper wire network and needed to be replaced, but pitching the Australian public on spending billions on military getting a communications upgrade was a hard sell So instead the two majors went at each other on two different versions of the same dumb idea, fiber to the premises vs fiber to the node Now we have ****** fiber optics speeds because it's being speed capped with software, and ironically NBN is the same old HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) technology that Foxtel had installed for years 🫠

  @craigspeculator @Foxtel Gross.. when we had to cancel our dog food subscription they asked why (can cancel online) we told them he died. They sent us a candle with his name on it. Honestly such a small gesture.. trying to keep a subscription in this situation feels a bit gross.
