James Jones (@JamesyJones) reported@OMGTheMess Coalition also handed out $40m to Foxtel. Complete and utter scam. Cash for comment each and every night. There was no tender, no conditions and no reporting. All to a subscription service that cheerleads them every night. But the Right don’t dare bring that up.

Freo ⚓ Pope (@FreoPope) reported@FkYeahMatt Is it really? Or is it a Foxtel rebroadcasting service? Channel 504 showed the Swans game then the AFLW international.

Ray Gatt (@Gatty54) reportedAnyone having issues with Foxtel?

Peter Dewar (@PeterD84508) reported@timritchie It was failed PM John Howard that sold off Telstra to the tax payers that already owned it. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....

G. 🇦🇺🇮🇱 🦅🤘🏼 (@geraint266) reported@chadtownsend10 The trouble is Chad, the app is terrible and continually breaks down, if it didn’t do that there would be a lot less complaints. The price has gone up $20 on the last few years and the service hasn’t improved. I pay $107 a month to have Foxtel I can afford it, many cannot.

Tom Garner (@tom_garner) reported“There might be a change in broadcasters” Reading in far too much: - “might” - All on Sky on table? - No BBC? Bad IMO - huge reach. Unless ITV want it to add to rugby pfolio - On Pay TV. DAZN? Owns Foxtel so aligned with NRL, but £26 pm. TNT? Not the same production quality
-
Julie Burgess (@julieburgess623) reported@Telstra for 5 days now we have been unable to watch Foxtel as our internet speed is 4.49 as per their consultant. We have contacted NBN who told us to contact Telstra. The person there said the problem is our modem which it is not. We need a solution please Telstra.

S B (@Conigman) reported@footyindustryAU Can i ask a stupid question? Why did Dazn need to buy Foxtel? Why couldnt they just save there cash and bid for the rights of the NRL, AFL when it comes up etc? I mean Foxtel (Fox Sports) are worth nothing without the rights in the first place?

Crowdiegal (@crowdiegal) reportedRealistically Nine are the only FTA TV network that maybe could afford the World Cup rights. Ten would have to partner with Foxtel. Seven...no way could they do it not with AFL, cricket and maybe NRL on their network...they would be paying a lot for all three sports just there.
