@Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help despite being told that if I paid up I would have instant access ... so I was transferred to ‘technical help’ ..... after a LONG period of silence I was told that they are having trouble with #outlander and it is not available!!! .... contd ....

  • AndreePoppleton Andree Poppleton (@AndreePoppleton) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help .. Then I was told to check back ‘from time to time’ to see when it is available ... when I asked what that means the woman said ‘just every now and then over the next few days’!! I wish we had a proper TV service delivering @Outlander_STARZ in Australia! ..

@Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help is shambolic with the most appalling service ... it’s not unusual to have to talk to 3 or 4 people or departments to get a sensible answer ... so, now we wait ........... ⏰ 🕰

Day has conspired to get me home, so that means I’m doing the #Wrestlemania35 thing. Thanks WWE Network for saving me from having to give money to Foxtel!

  • JenRob_Aus 🇦🇺Truest SanditonS2👒💖 (@JenRob_Aus) reported

@FanScreening @globalshadows2 No, we can't access HBO without a VPN. (Which I don't have...legally) Although our cable network Foxtel does stream a lot of HBO content. But it's not listed. I'll have to look out for it another time.

  • LeslieDaFrog Al (@LeslieDaFrog) reported

@PoorlyAgedStuff In Australia we have a cable network called @Foxtel. They claimed they would never show ads... then it was we'll never show more than 1 ad between shows... then 3. Now it's wall to wall ads and they run in the middle of shows and on their paid app. It's also extremely expensive

  • sharitags the rural juror (@sharitags) reported

@DustyPee Probs not the same issue but the Foxtel app on my TV wouldn’t load, called Foxtel and they said what brand is TV? I said an el cheapo, TCL, they said TCL hadn’t updated hardware or something and so sent me a new box, all good now 🙌🏼

  • CoalcliffAli Alison Maclean (@CoalcliffAli) reported

@OrangeFizzer @DustyPee Seems you're overwhelmed with kind advice and help there Dusty...🤔I don't have this weirdo Foxtel box but I wonder when the power went out that you coulda lost some of your settings- say the outage reset to default settings?

  • Brython14 Brython (@Brython14) reported

@Mietar @FOXTEL_Help No. The pricks at Foxtel told me that they will contact me with a solution, but six days later I haven't heard from them. I will keep trying, but they are useless.

  • Dakar_66 [ARI2] James (@Dakar_66) reported

@AnotherUKVoice @Nic5_Cyprus @PoorlyAgedStuff Same with Foxtel here, their streaming service is $80 (£40) a month and you get ads at the start of each episode

  • thejellyfox The jelly fox (@thejellyfox) reported

@DustyPee I had that same message. Fixed it by moving the foxtel box to the e-waste recycle bin at officeworks. No 4k problems any more.

  • luketsmith90 Luke Smith (@luketsmith90) reported

@FOXNRL @Foxtel @kayosports Moronic, dumb, stupid idea and im a bulldogs fan

  • AdamCrocker86 Adam Crocker (@AdamCrocker86) reported

@FOXNRL @Foxtel @kayosports The Twitter timeline seems to suggest this idea is pretty unpopular. But when I heard it, my immediate feelings is that it could work. At least explore the idea but everyone is shooting it down.
