    @JennyENicholson In Australia, at least, Netflix became an overnight success because people were sick of paying exorbitant prices for cable via Foxtel. They got their foot in the door by being a better service than Murdoch and a safer service than piracy. Aus piracy plummeted. Now here we are.

    @ZenqaCOD @binge I don’t want foxtel, I want the service I’m paying for to be at the market standard. Why would I want to install dedicated hardware and spend more than I want to on packages that I don’t care about just so I can have an equivalent experience to literally any other streamer?

    People talk about the BBL being in trouble (rumour has it Ch.7 wanted out of its TV deal). Perth had 53K+ at its Finals game, 502K watched on FTA and 330K on Foxtel. Its ‘viewership reach’ must have been in the millions!

    @simonhill1894 @aleaguemen Have barely watched a game this season. Used to watch eighty per cent of the games on foxtel. Ten coverage/accessibility very poor in comparison.

    @thetipsguru @kayosports won't don't all find an extra $5 a week and get normal foxtel haven't had an issue in 20 years 🤦

    so the grammys are coming up but the show is not on foxtel or free to air tv, which sucks so much because I was looking forward to watching the show 😩😩

    Sorry, I'm sick of the need to 'educate' footballers. How to pay bills? eat? clean a house? yeah sure knock yourself out with my Foxtel & Membership money but domestic violence, ****, etc etc. **** off, get them out of our game so the rest know there is no support. #afl
