Scott (Human) - ππαπδΉδΉππ (@Dorizzdt) reported**** this, I'm going out today to spend $3k on a media setup. I'm going back to just pirating TV/Movies. It's not because I am not willing to pay, its I am tired of paying subscription services and having everything so fragmented and being Nickel and Dimed by the services. When we worked on HD Streaming in the 2000's we set the foundation up for the industry to make video possible more easier. Even back then convincing Hollywood / TV Networks to abandon physical media for streaming was a huge undertaking in itself. They just were ******* in contracts with the creators of content and couldn't find a way to make online work. Fast forward 20 years later and this is the **** we end up with. It literally is just easier to pirate than its to keep doing this. atm I pay for: HBO Max Stan FoxTel Primewire Paramount Netflix Disney+ BritTv (i forgot to cancel the trial fml) AppleTV+ Its about $160 a month AUD I can't find half the **** i want to watch and the stuff that I want to watch is full of ads, or you have to then pay extra ontop. I'm out. stfu ... I'ma use AI to setup a complete end to end media experience.

Jimmy (@JamesBa40189175) reported@ausbtcclub We get absolutely **** all for working hard here in Oz. I had job and separate business with mates. Struggled for 8 years and everyone made money from the business except us. Electricity, Gas, Foxtel, wages, rent, rates, tax, gst, employee super. @mrYodaJ @fiftyshadezof1

RatFinky (@de32344) reportedSurprised Channel 7 didnβt choose to show Foxtel broadcast for an AFL milestone; Pendlebury breaking AFL games record. Not a Collingwood fan/supporter, but there are loyal Collingwood fans/supporters who only have access to Free to Air. Stupid move as usual from Channel 7. ππ

Wayne Pasterfield (@wpasterfield) reportedCan either @Foxtel or @SkyRacingAU fix the program banner and program guide for channel 528 so it reflects what is on and when please. Hard watching replays when you donβt know when theyβre on.

Logical β½οΈ πΊπ¦ (@BinManIan) reported@simonhill1894 @AnthonyPHoran @Gatty54 Paramount Plus have been pretty good for the A-League... with the exception of not being in pubs (which continues to be a massive problem). I did some analysis the other day and P+ have more subscribers now than Foxtel had when the A-League had its TV audience peak in 2012-13
