@JoshDeveson @Foxtel Lol, they won’t because it’s “live” and don’t want to pay for a live captioner and can’t be bothered adding it on replay. I’m not deaf but watch late at night with captions to keep the volume down. It’s the same on the sports channels. It’s frankly ridiculous. They’re cheapskates

@foxtel Nothing like hearing the commentators describe what you're currently seeing on the 4k channel. When you cut over from the pre-practice/pre-qualy/pre-race feed, the audio advances around 1-2sec. Thankfully in-car audio is fine, otherwise I'd lose my ****.

@plbuckland @bobbi_dad @LisaByrnes2 Win dropped Jones. Bad for business. Sky news is basically subsidised by Foxtel subscriptions. You can't opt out without dropping the whole of cable TV. The ABC are doing the journalism that Newscorp and the networks fail to do.

@elonmusk Damn, lucky I have Nord VPN. Will need to set it to a country thst isn't Canada, US, or the UK. Sucks that Foxtel has it here.

@TechMike2kX Ugh! I hate this, so much. Licensing deals suck. We have this large, rich, ugly monster of a thing in Australia called Foxtel: It gobbles up exclusive rights for a LOT of content (i.e. HBO, NBA, etc) then charge a fortune for the service while STILL running ads every 2 minutes.

Did I really just hear the @foxtel commentators say Charlie Disxon would be happy to learn his opponent tore a hamstring #wtf
