@HunterFujak @AFL The money props up the clubs ecause they are making a loss and would shut-down without tv money......AND foxtel will NOT keep coughing up that much money forever as they are dying a slow death. In the future the afl will die slowly because they have become dependent on so much $$

Th eonly problem streaming free-to-air tv shows is the amount of ads they put throughout them. Like this #7Plus app, that i am now straeming fcrom r n, has A LOT more ads than the #9NOW app, when #Foxtel doesn't hazve any ads when i stream their shows 🤔

The only losers from today’s AFL deal are the television watching fans. Not the AFL, not 7 and certainly not Foxtel. They’ll make a killing. I will NOT pay my money to foxtel. I think I’m going to cancel my membership. It’s not worth following anymore.

@FOXNRL @Foxtel @kayosports For a guy who made a career out of head butting other players it’s good to see he now realises the possible damage he caused.

@PeterVLang @brentread_7 Old Ready pinged me for being negative. Clearly Brent Read has never watched NRL360 where the panel (including him) spend 3 nights a week ****-canning the game that they (Foxtel) pay a fortune to broadcast.

@FOXFOOTY @Foxtel @kayosports As a Melbourne supporter, I hope he doesn't play. He won't be 100% and will likely cause further damage preventing him from playing further in finals if we win. Play the smart long game Dees...

Foxtel have won the rights for AFL for the next 9 years. Sport behind a paywall that is a platform for gambling as well as controlling the daily news agenda. Without any doubt Foxtel is the most unfriendly customer organisation bar none. It treats its customers with contempt.
