@marc014 @7AFL At the time of the broadcast deal, Telstra had their own service which held the digitial broadcast rights for the brownlow. This year AFL Live Pass became Kayo which belongs to Foxtel who don't own rights at all

@FOXTEL_Help foxtel has been down since 5pm yesterday. Orange light on the unit. I rang support and after going through all the normal checks I was informed there is an outage in my area of Oakleigh. Seems to be more and more issues of late

@JBarney1994 I use Foxtel Go and it doesn’t have free to air (I think) so I was shocked to learn it was an issue for some tonight.

@Foxtel it would be great to get a clear answer on what’s going on with Foxtel. Hasn’t worked since 5pm today. I ring and you say there’s an outage in my area but still nothing resolved. Sub standard service for a premium price.

@JSNoble @AFL Foxtel could of just let 7 stream it on their app and there would be no problem. But since they have the streaming rights Channel 7 cant

@SamErnest13 @realandrewhorto @RealMarkLatham Incorrect, they found the FTTP devices got cheaper after the switch to Multi-Mode and that FTTN was never going to be enough. The switch also added more complexity adding to delays. LNP purposely ruined it to appease Murdoch who didn't want competition to Foxtel.

@DK_Flipper @TheHolyBoot You can't even do that. Foxtel are the only ones who can stream the AFL content, but it's a 7 product. They will definitely fix it up next year. I was thinking about setting up my streaming gear an illegally streaming it on our Facebook page. Haha.

@Telstra what is with ya internet today having problems all day on the PS4 Foxtel app won’t work Stan won’t load even nine now won’t load keeps buffering and Apple TV what the hell is going on sick of this

Foxtel gave us the kid's pack for free for 2 months, and I'm way more excited to get Cartoon Network than my kid is
