@davvers605 There will be regional areas that need it because internet coverage is still too poor (thanks Rupert), but for the most part, by 2031 streaming and on demand will be the way of Foxtel. I cut the cord after I left Bunbury and have rarely wanted it back (Kayo, Binge, Flash)

  • sacarlin48 Anne Carlin #VoteYes (@sacarlin48) reported

@PeterKlages @Telstra Disastrous long term history with Telstea. Planned to ditch them when we moved down here 7 years ago but thwarted as the internet connection was through Foxtel cable so it was Telstra or go back to ADSL. Celebrated when NBN came as I could ditch #Telstra for all time.

If you're a seasoned marketer - I spent 22 years leading the strategic marketing of IBM, Malaysia Airlines, Microsoft APAC, Foxtel, Austar, Fairprice supermarkets Singapore, UPS DHL and the Government of New Zealand- "you know when you automate marketing, it doesn't work"!/

@1116sen I've been looking for an excuse to cancel my Foxtel subscription - have now found it 👍

@amenners thoughts on the foxtel deal? Seems like it worst possible outcome for grassroots growth of the sport, looks to me like everything is behind a paywall for the rest of this decade

  • Emperors_Tailor 💧 The Emperor’s Old Tailor (@Emperors_Tailor) reported

@MayneReport And yet we STILL can't watch the cricket live on Seven's "7 Plus" streaming platform. You need a TV with a digital tuner to be able to watch it free to air. Otherwise, you have to give money to Foxtel (which I will never again do).

  • journalistagen1 journalistagendas (@journalistagen1) reported

@crowdiegal I imagine part of the deal with Foxtel is that he has to do an interview and tell all. I imagine there will be crying from him and Candice, and another story of hard their life is. Foxtel signing him is an awful move.

  • the_red_heifer Brendan Johnson (@the_red_heifer) reported

Oh that's right you can cast Foxtel go these days, problem solved

  • DavidJRichardss David Richards (@DavidJRichardss) reported

@danbrettig And will any of you ask whether 7 and Foxtel will be allowed once again to circumvent the anti-siphoning legislation? ODIs are supposed to be available on FTA and this is a blatantly illegal fix. Asking @MRowlandMP ?

  • Creed1870 S#GH Creed (@Creed1870) reported

@7Cricket 7 more mediocre years, great , @Channel7 and @Foxtel are doing more damage to the sport than good
