@footyindustryAU Yes, timing is one thing. If they get at least one streaming service saying they want the works, Foxtel will need to pay up more next time - even if there's no upside in NSW, there's a LOT of potential downside.

Everything said in the article by Vlandys might even be true, but it doesnt change the central fact that he did a bad deal that didnt need to be done at the time it was done or for the length it was done for, to - checks notes - keep Foxtel from going to the wall.
