@becbatchy @MikeCarlton01 Does she watch a lot of other programs on Foxtel or just News. Maybe you could gift her some other package and wean her off it. I know it sounds bad. G lad my elderly mother doesn't have it.

Bye bye @Foxtel 15 years a customer and finally streaming is destroying your thieving ways. Kayo, Disney, Netflix, Stan All cheap month to month than crappy ads and re-runs from Foxtel It pays to look after your long term subscribers instead of new I’m out, catch ya

@rpotter_9 @BBCNews @StephenMcDonell And anyway, we get the BBC (on Murdoch owned Foxtel) and we've got the damn queen on our money. Why aren't you doing your job here either?

  • cheeseanderson Chris Anderson (@cheeseanderson) reported

@MatGill10 @dylan_buckley I don't have Foxtel, so I can't comment on that, but the Chromecast does Netflix, Disney+ and Youtube, which is pretty much all my wife and I need, and haven't had any connectivity issues. If/when our TV does finally die, it's replacement will definitely be a Smart TV though

  • Kevnunn Kevnunn (@Kevnunn) reported

@claudia980980 I cancelled Foxtel years ago and never buy anything Murdoch

  • therealdale Dale? (@therealdale) reported

@ryantjansen Got rid of @Foxtel today. As bad a Brayshaw is, I can't get pissed and change now. So yes you're right. Just S. T. F. U.

@Telstra Tried kayo once, spam was chronic, despite endlessly unsubscribing. Telstra's service is 4th world. Foxtel fleeced my Dad when Mum died, theft from his credit card took a year, they were merciless, not another penny. @AFL wants to lose supporters? No care for "it's community"

  • RugbyRiddler Rugby Riddler (@RugbyRiddler) reported

@GreenJ Compared to Fox Sports on the Foxtel boxes, I actually find it ok in accessing a heap of sports. However, you're right, the UI itself is a tad annoying with endless scrolling up and down. And the refresh of live stuff takes ages. But all up, I'll take $15/month of kayo.

@claudia980980 I canceled FOXTEL and the ******* the phone asked why. I told her I refuse to fund Rupert’s greed and her response was, “Yes, we’re getting a lot of that lately. I also prefer Quilton to the Australian or Daily Telegraph, and I NEVER subscribe to their “news” outlets online. 💯👌🏻
