    @chadtownsend10 The trouble is Chad, the app is terrible and continually breaks down, if it didnโ€™t do that there would be a lot less complaints. The price has gone up $20 on the last few years and the service hasnโ€™t improved. I pay $107 a month to have Foxtel I can afford it, many cannot.

    **** this, I'm going out today to spend $3k on a media setup. I'm going back to just pirating TV/Movies. It's not because I am not willing to pay, its I am tired of paying subscription services and having everything so fragmented and being Nickel and Dimed by the services. When we worked on HD Streaming in the 2000's we set the foundation up for the industry to make video possible more easier. Even back then convincing Hollywood / TV Networks to abandon physical media for streaming was a huge undertaking in itself. They just were ******* in contracts with the creators of content and couldn't find a way to make online work. Fast forward 20 years later and this is the **** we end up with. It literally is just easier to pirate than its to keep doing this. atm I pay for: HBO Max Stan FoxTel Primewire Paramount Netflix Disney+ BritTv (i forgot to cancel the trial fml) AppleTV+ Its about $160 a month AUD I can't find half the **** i want to watch and the stuff that I want to watch is full of ads, or you have to then pay extra ontop. I'm out. stfu ... I'ma use AI to setup a complete end to end media experience.

    takes 3 ******* hours to watch a one hour show on hbomax with foxtel. buffers more than what you see play. on top of that the wifi drops from foxtel too. hbomax app doesnt work straight through the tv anymore. IHNFI why. i just want to watch euphuckingphoria

    I thought i was tripping out. Good to see others complaining too I dont think there is a shitter streaming service than kayo. Australia is getting helf hostage by this foxtel monopoly.

    @PollyPorridge My town didnโ€™t have channel ten until I was like 12? Or maybe later so if you didnโ€™t have Foxtel you never saw it, and when I visited my aunty in Adelaide it was banned so it was a double whammy

    @NRLMedia What an awful outcome for fans. Higher prices. Still have to watch the biggest games on nine in their ****** โ€œHDโ€. Games covered by nine still not in 4K on Foxtel. ******* pathetic. Itโ€™s 2026 FFS, not 1990.

    @tayser82 I believe Foxtel used as much power as a town the size of Lithgow when it first setup in Macquarie Park but, no, that wasnโ€™t a problem
