@Higgo74 @MrBrokenEyes @Foxtel Got my Foxtel down to $60, my dad still uses it, 2 4K boxes, all but movies.. not too bad, but if my old man wasn’t living with me, I’d get rid of it.

Sitting bored in a hotel room (damn work trip) and flick on the TV to see the 2017 Anzac Day match on Foxtel. Suddenly the night isn’t so bad.

I actually smashed out 'The Boys' cos i heard good things but other than that. Cya later. Do the same for Disney now. Only got that to watch the Marvel **** i hadn't seen yet. Foxtel does the job fine

@JennyENicholson In Australia, at least, Netflix became an overnight success because people were sick of paying exorbitant prices for cable via Foxtel. They got their foot in the door by being a better service than Murdoch and a safer service than piracy. Aus piracy plummeted. Now here we are.

@agentK @stevebiddle @Subwaynzz I think the big issue with Sky, was having to buy a base pack with barely a anything you want, even if you just wanted movies or sport. Streaming is a different problem - fragmentation of content. We have Binge here, which is owned by Foxtel as is under $20 month but has most 1/2

@Foxtel dont know if the new software update was to fix the sound issues on the movies channels but it has partly fixed movie greats is still way low volume
