With the shoulder charge outlawed, how did every commentator just do the hairy chested “let’s not get rid of the big hit that looks bad”. Hats off to Junior for speaking afterwards how the rules improve safety.

@FOXNRL @Foxtel @kayosports Some of the worst refereeing I’ve seen so far this season. Disgraceful calls from both ends. Whatever happened to the rule if a player stays down then he must go off? Just doesn’t happen! Almost like the rule doesn’t exist.
