@Strattyg Another way of solving the problem of the ABC's unfair competition would be to nationalise SkyNews, Foxtel and all the NewsCorp mastheads. That should level the playing field.

My internet is currently 100kb/s because it’s really hot in Australia. Usually it’s 1mb/s because of the media monopoly (fast internet here would have meant Foxtel couldn’t compete with Netflix so LNP gov turned down better internet infrastructure labor had planned)

@inrng Eurosport is no longer available for viewing on any TV service in Australia. Eurosport's long running arrangement with Foxtel TV ended in December 2019 and Fetch TV who took it up then dumped in December 2020.

@AusSeaSteph @CaseyBriggs It's a cabal of interests. Cricket and Tennis Australia, Murdoch via FOXTEL, Network TV and the betting industry. 90% of above are cheerleaders for LNP. LNP need sport to keep the masses hypnotised
