@7_commentary Carey ****** up so bad that rather than removing him from his role at channel 7 the AFL just took the whole game away from 7 (and Foxtel) and gave it to channel 9 (and Stan).

@BTBrianTaylor @Foxtel @FOXSportsAUS Can’t believe how blatantly biased Brian Taylor’s commentary is. Horrible to listen to. Full disclosure, I’m an Essendon supporter watching Richmond v WC. Better commentary is needed!

@leighjones0212 @Foxtel If you’re a CBA customer you can get Binge and Kayo for $17 a month. Ditch Foxtel.

@NRLMedia What an awful outcome for fans. Higher prices. Still have to watch the biggest games on nine in their ****** “HD”. Games covered by nine still not in 4K on Foxtel. ******* pathetic. It’s 2026 FFS, not 1990.

@sportandracing @AussieNinerGuy @footyindustryAU Um Yes AFL broadcast agreement with the Seven Network & Foxtel includes built-in annual indexation Compound Growth: The contract features an in-built indexation rate, which represents a compound annual growth rate of about 3.6% for the rights fees over the life of the agreement

@landry235 I very much think, Sue, that you and I are in the same 'Club'. I'm having a terrible time at the moment. I'm staying with Mum in Sydney and frankly, I think I'd feel more welcome and comfortable in a morgue. These things were sent to test us. And that reminds me: on my 50th birthday I hadn't heard ANYTHING from Mum by 5 in the afternoon, so I decided to phone her instead. She answered the phone in a foul mood and said she couldn't talk right then because she was having trouble with setting the Foxtel box to record the news! And then she hung up 🙄🙄🙄

@OMGTheMess Hahaha. Yeah televise women’s sport. That was proven to be bs. That’s what they ‘claimed’ it was for. And estimates proved not a single additional women’s sport was televised. Also Foxtel never even asked for the money or reported what they did with it. $40m given away.

@Telstra for 5 days now we have been unable to watch Foxtel as our internet speed is 4.49 as per their consultant. We have contacted NBN who told us to contact Telstra. The person there said the problem is our modem which it is not. We need a solution please Telstra.

@centralNRL Holy ****, we are finally close to being rid of Matt Thompson. Go on Foxtel

@clarke3110 @bondiroosters Yep, Kayo is just the revamped Foxtel rip off. The AFL and NRL have let down the supporters, won’t be long until the attendance to games drops because the general lack of interest is.

@Bingbongbo10475 @telegraph_sport The TV ratings have been neck and neck for FTA/VOZ audience figures. Both AFL and NRL hovering around 500-650k. AFL has beaten the NRL multiple times this season including last night which was AFL 655k and NRL 544k. It's always going to change though depending on the games that are on and general interest in those teams. In the stands, its 37,623 AFL and 21, 676 NRL for average attendance. That's 73% higher. For last season in particular, AFL had a Seven FTA average of 630k, and roughly 300k for Kayo/Foxtel NRL had a Nine FTA average of 570k and around 430k for Kayo/Foxtel. So no, it's not night and day between "every domestic sport combined" its barely midday and 1pm between NRL and AFL, and night and day between AFL and NRL when it comes to people actually getting off their arses and going to support their team. I don't watch either sport, but the facts are there in black and white.

@LisaB_29 $350 is not bad compared to foxtel & Kayo.
