Chris Beattie (@jabbrwcky) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@colingregg @theronster Same down under. Of course nobody has an automatic right to content but Foxtel has a monopoly on GoT and it’s exorbitantly expensive. I bet that’s why Straya is #1 for dodgy downloads!
-
Glen Foreman (@glen_foreman) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@WhellumAnthony @Bridie_WA @plalor @braddavo @Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help Also try telling them you're leaving and you're not interested in anything they have to say. My $90 package was suddenly available for $20 a month, for the life of my service, if I stayed. I still left - simply didn't use it. A mate said they did the same to him, too.
-
Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, Western AustraliaSo I left work this arvo & the sun was still out. When I got home it was very dark & overcast. Now it's pissing with rain. The real drama is the loss of satellite signal for @Foxtel. At least I can stream @NetflixANZ. TI #1stworldproblems
-
Victor Yong (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, Western AustraliaMy NBN has been switched over from ADSL2+ on 23/10 after a botched installation on 21/10 in which they used an old Foxtel cable outlet in my lounge room (moved to Satellite back in March). Good service for first two days before the dropouts began
-
Impcer (@impcer) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@Foxtel don’t expect these clowns at Foxtel to give any service or admit they’re wrong. Main event cuts out at they go ‘too bad’ we don’t give a shit about our clients. Just give us your money is what they said. **** THE SCAMMING *****!!!
-
Wes Cameron (@wcameronOU812) reported from Westfield, Western AustraliaWhy are @Telstra and @Foxtel so hard to deal with. Surely some courtesy would be appropriate. Dealing with a machine just doesn’t work. Such poor customer service.
-
Kristy Sedlarczuk (@KristySed) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@sistalma @Foxtel I think after the AFL wraps up this year, I will cut it back or cancel. $119 a month for platinum & they are offering new customers at half price. I reckon of have had Foxtel for 13 years or more. Not worth it any more.
-
💧🍺🍩B Digby Bamford🍩🍺 (@unenergy) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@adamajacoby They've never had to. Look up postmaster general. Free delivery for their papers. Then Howard gave Rupert monopoly access to Telstra for Foxtel. Maggie gave him control of BSkyB. Ronnie helped him buy Fox on the cheap. Taxpayers were Murdoch's Venture Capitalists.
-
Freocookster ⚓ 🐀 💜 (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@Kop_this @freodockers @rupertmurdoch Hmmm, this I did not know. I haven't gone down this path since I lived in Melbourne and Foxtel was the only way to see Freo games. Kayo is $5 a month for Telstra customers.
-
Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@adam_turner Well we never really owned one. We all leased them. It was one of the reasons that Australis Media went broke. The original Galaxy offering was so flimsy. 8x channels via MDS dish on the roof. Ironically, I see Foxtel busily migrating their customers to sat or IP. TI #paytv
-
Michael Miller (@Sniff4EVA) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@smh @kloussikian @JennieDuke Foxtel you will lose me as a customer if you don’t get these rights.
-
KR (@KR_1973) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@FOXFOOTY @Foxtel really? You’re really going to allow this idiot on TV coughing and saying dumb stuff like that while the whole of Melbourne is being looked at and criticised @DanielAndrewsMP
-
Chris McAlinden (@chrismca88) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@FOXTEL_Help Hey, I swapped HDMI cables on our Samsung smart TV last night so we could mount it on the wall Not a major issue, but the Foxtel IQ4 box tab is now showing up with a Sky NZ logo- any easy fix for this? Happy to DM if easier 👍🏻

-
Paulz (@Paulz20445090) reported from Westfield, Western AustraliaQuality service from Foxtel... NOT. On the phone waiting for 2hrs only to be disconnected while finally talking to 'someone' about recording failures. Obviously too difficult. Think I will keep a log here of my ongoing experiences. Stay tuned. #FOXTELfail1
-
Impcer (@impcer) reported from Westfield, Western AustraliaLove streaming a main event at half the price of Foxtel while they don’t get a cent due to not doing the right thing with their ****** shit service on the last main event I purchased. Eilegend (@lipsarinna) reported@utahsocialite @Foxtel It was terrible I think we should do a petition for Binge to pick it back up
-
Adrian Sal (@adriansal80) reported@2_Blue_Baggers @SC___Scout I've had Foxtel since day one, in fact I remember getting galaxy when it first came to Australia. Have never used Kayo and would never use Kayo.
-
ralph horowitz (@rtralphy) reportedConfident prediction The price of Foxtel and Kayo will spike considerably, and it will be justified based on the government gambling ads crackdown Quinella: Never waste a crisis into law of unintended consequences GR 👍
-
SydneyCityTV (@SydneyCityTV) reported@gerardmmkl Are News Corp possibly nervous that Foxtel may lose the NRL rights? Because I'm quite sure that people will follow the NRL to Stan or whichever other streaming service the coverage may end up at instead, just as there was a kind of exodus from Optus to Foxtel about 25 years ago.
-
El Gordo Ciclista (@elgordociclista) reported@inthebarberry @CattardSlim It’s owned by Fox, so why is anyone to expect? Ironically, Foxtel (basically the country’s biggest cable network and owned by Murdoch) has Sky News and CNN on consecutive channels. Go figure.
-
John (@jt_melb) reportedHow the actual does Foxtel/Binge take The Daily Show away from Paramount+? **** this ****, no wonder torrents are making a major comeback
-
Darren Beale (@DarrenBeale2) reported@matt__nicholls Pretty sure @Foxtel rely on many subscribers just being to lazy or not being bothered to go through process and of cancelling What other reason wouod there be for a Foxtel customer not being able to simply cancel on line ?
-
FixTechStuff 🛠️ (@FixTechStuff1) reported@purplepingers The hole for the Foxtel cable was likely drilled through the channel in the roof iron so water drips down when it rains. Happened with my satellite internet, 30 mins after installers left there was a downpour and a literal torrent of water poured out the wall plate into the modem
-
Mel (@its_me_mel_xx) reportedI'm almost done with @Telstra. Two months in a row I've had bill problems with Foxtel by Telstra. I tried to cancel it a couple weeks ago but they gave me a good discount. Get new bill today, discount applied BUT the price of it went up, wiping out the discount. 🤬🤬
-
NMM (@NeilMur73809257) reported@GusLefty @BenFordhamLive Yeh but we have a choice whether we pay for Foxtel but no choice whether we pay for your ABC! Some people are slow thinkers.
