Step and fetch (@FetchStep) reported@MichaelPascoe01 NRL before the kids. It’s directly related to Foxtel and Nine's broadcast rights with the NRL. Non gambling Advertising revenue is down so the only income these mobs will get for the footy is from Gambling. If labor bans Gambling ads the NRL won’t get same the money for the deal

Leigh (@hinterland33) reported@sportandracing @AussieNinerGuy @footyindustryAU Um Yes AFL broadcast agreement with the Seven Network & Foxtel includes built-in annual indexation Compound Growth: The contract features an in-built indexation rate, which represents a compound annual growth rate of about 3.6% for the rights fees over the life of the agreement

joan Reynolds (@joanReynolds52) reported@RBJRON @strangerous10 I’m with you. Haven’t bought a Murdoch rag since 1997. Never subscribed to Foxtel and, for my own sanity, never tuned into Sky. Don’t walk into a Harvey Norman shop and avoid anyone else who advertises with the Murdochracy

Nigeyboy (@Nigeyboyl7do) reported@codenrl **** I hope so . I hate channel 9 coverage. Foxtel is the greatest footy network. The people are decent down to earth and care about fans. Channel may have the greatest players ever but it’s a lame boring telecast.

@The_Tony 2023 🏆 (@the_tony) reportedFoxtel must be desperate to sell tickets for the Fredumb 250 UFC disgrace, poor old Gerard has to keep pushing the broadcast at every commercial break.

Richard (@RichardBlackgum) reported@hook_gc @FOXNRL It's Fox, try and cancel foxtel for an elderly relative. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

George W. Grundy (@georgewgrundy) reportedAbsolutely outrageous - you can buy a UFC fighting subscription from @Foxtel with one click, but in order to cancel you have to phone a call centre and take over 30 minutes to get it cancelled over the phone. Absolute ripoff, what ********.

T Highgate (@THighgate11) reported@LeagueScenePod NRL won’t go for this. V’landys has said numorous times that he wants $4 billion for 5 years. This offer is $4 billion for 7 years which is worst than what the current AFL deal is. Foxtel needs this deal more than the NRL at this stage.
