@AdamDTurk Despite being a huge sport guy, I never paid for foxtel because the idea of paying for content and still seeing ads killed me

@Digital_kaz I have Nord, no problems. Every now and then they have specials so I have paid for a few years in advance at a really cheap rate. Until recently I only used it to watch overseas Tv but will be using it more from now on. Can’t watch Aussie tv or foxtel catch-up with it on.

I have been a long time customer for Foxtel since 1999 and when I first got Foxtel they had no adds and over time adds are plentiful and I notice they even advertise free to air channels over Foxtel too when you watch an NBA game they show so many adds in every game.

so I’m trying out my “one” free week trial (other markets I know have had a free month) of @paramountplus … on first look, I think Australia’s licensing is so fragmented that the true potential is not coming through… I’ve cut out Foxtel and Netflix now… so I’ll see in 7 days.

@FOXTEL_Help can I get somebody (not a bot) to help me with a basic problem? When attempting to “register” it says I don’t exist

  • russellwsw The Real WSW (@russellwsw) reported

@GuidoTresoldi I remember back in the day when all football was on Foxtel and all everyone did was whinge about that. The monopoly was the best thing for us as we could see it all and only need 1 service.
