When the internet is down and #Foxtel is as stable as Britney Spears, I’m glad I still have actual movies to watch.

  • staggy33
Staggy (@staggy33) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Adelaiderocker @Foxtel I don't pay for it, my fiance does. Im leaving it up to her if she wants to cancel it. @foxtel just assuming everyone has a high speed, big data type connection or? Ridiculous to rely on an internet connection.

  • suechook
Sue 🦋🌺 (@suechook) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Foxtel Not happy we are unable to watch 9 or 10 yet we are told it’s our problem. Yet our tv in our bedroom works perfect on our normal antenna.Seems the issue is the Foxtel satellite but no one will fix it !

  • Frank_theTank78
Frank (@Frank_theTank78) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@bozwhite @AnthonySiokos I ditched Foxtel in December last year but having no FTA highlights & requiring multiple services is no walk in the park. You can’t watch every game so it becomes irrelevant whether you can afford every service or not. It’s inconvenient and fans are becoming less & less important

  • sascha_frost
Sascha Frost (@sascha_frost) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@PatGerace @Telstra Why has customer service in Australia fallen to new depths of inadequacy? I had a similar issue with @foxtel

@tchbastard ‘JOBS FOR THE BOYS’ coming soon to Foxtel .An expose of suck up officialdom that leads to community distrust .Parental warning: poor examples led by figures of authority who flaunt the law for notoriety .PRODUCED BY by DECEPTION FILMS ONE RULE FOR SOME .Limited tickets available

@SkyNewsAust Takes one to know one, this applies equally to Chris Kenny: "Trouble is, he's been consistently wrong." Please stop quoting him. Signed, Paid Foxtel Customer (for now).

  • timsaidthis

@kayosports_help Please do. To be real, 720p hasn’t been HD since about 2009. On a 4K TV, it looks really poor. For those of us that’ve been used to real HD lockdown Netflix, this is inferior. Given Foxtel has 4K channels & streaming, it seems a pretty cynical move to not have it through Kayo.

  • grantpallant
Grant Pallant (@grantpallant) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

Watching @FollowWAU on Foxtel for year 2020 two things I noticed how many people are at the 500 and the freeloader @marshall_steven soaking up the free **** what a oxygen robber @NickPercat #missthe500

  • Frank_theTank78
Frank (@Frank_theTank78) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@FOXTEL_Help Thanks, but there are a lot of other races on Sky Racing which aren’t on channel 10. How long do I have to return my box after I cancel?

  • staggy33
Crarg (@staggy33) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@JCmacc1 @BaggersAFL Must have been watching a different broadcast. Bc the #Foxtel broadcast never zoomed right in. It bounced, stop kidding yourself.

  • Dutchy1010
Dutchy (@Dutchy1010) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Crickettrag1965 It's a game guaranteed to Foxtel as part of the broadcast deal, hence will never be standalone

  • DunkenKBliths

@theregem Streamotion Kayo Sports is an over-the-top video streaming subscription service available in Australia, owned by Streamotion (a wholly owned subsidiary of Foxtel). The service offers sports live and on demand from Fox Sports, ESPN, beIN Sports, and Racing

  • staggy33
Staggy (@staggy33) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

So, @Foxtel want us to upgrade to the iq5 box. It uses an internet connection not a satellite. If my internet is down i don't get foxtel... also no #freetoairchannels, they want us to pay for a antenna to be installed.... nah we will just cancel #foxtel i think.

  • chalkwhitehands
Prune McSwollen (@chalkwhitehands) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Foxtel For a Streaming Service you have to really poor taste in movies.

  • staggy33
Staggy (@staggy33) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@Adelaiderocker @Foxtel They reckon we use a cable service here (ends in 2023). So now if we want FTA i have to stuff around & install more cables.. lovely.

  • grantpallant
Grant Pallant (@grantpallant) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@FOXTEL_Help I was going to cancel someone from retention called we discussed and I argreed to stay get iq5 box in price package but she was going to call me back as was having trouble finding my address

  • Too_Spicie_CC
Christopher Cornish (@Too_Spicie_CC) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

It’s official, after 21 years of great entertainment, I’ve decided to cancel my Foxtel subscription due mostly on financial difficulties as being on a pension with a part time job is tough and besides, there is nothing on these days!!!!

  • AdamJFitzgerald
Adam Fitzgerald (@AdamJFitzgerald) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@RalphyHeraldSun Fox Footy will be in more debt when I cancel my Foxtel subscription next week, along with any AFL payment.

  • benhook1
Ben Hook (@benhook1) reported from Adelaide, South Australia

@mattyweaver23 @Foxtel There is nothing more depressing than the vision of Norman’s flared approach into the gallery at 18 in 86. He was already beaten, but his expression was of a broken man. And I imagine that’s on the menu across the next 72 hours.

  • TheTopMostDog
    TheTopMostDog 🇦🇺🐕‍🦺🏕️🎣🔫🪓🥩 (@TheTopMostDog) reported

@Foxtel Mum is still paying $90/mo for this ****. I've almost convinced her to let it go. The value just isn't there anymore since competition ramped up. She could pay for half a dozen streaming platforms for that much. Unless you change, you'll die along with your last subscribers.

  • JamesyJones
    James Jones (@JamesyJones) reported

@OMGTheMess Coalition also handed out $40m to Foxtel. Complete and utter scam. Cash for comment each and every night. There was no tender, no conditions and no reporting. All to a subscription service that cheerleads them every night. But the Right don’t dare bring that up.

  • RealCOZZASAIDSO
Corey Wright (Mr. CW) (@RealCOZZASAIDSO) reported

@GrumpyPigeon @7plus Glad I recorded on Foxtel to watch properly. I thought it was a Copyright issue with the Doctor Who stuff. It actually has both audio/video messed up. Hopefully is fixed soon to watch properly.

  • Froggy2970
    Nick S (@Froggy2970) reported

@FOXNRL Tallis would be the main reason I cancel my Foxtel. Can’t watch 360 because of that Neanderthal.

  • FreoPope
    Freo ⚓ Pope (@FreoPope) reported

@FkYeahMatt I think Kayo just picks up Foxtel channels & re-packages them into streams. Foxtel is focused on their channels & they stayed to the end of the Swans game that ran over due to a bad injury, before they switched to the AFLW. Don't think Kayo produces shows that are on FoxFooty

  • quasii73
    Matt Healy (@quasii73) reported

@Colvick Why would anyone watch free to air if they have Kayo/Foxtel which is a far superior service.

  • bimmyjartel
    Jan (@bimmyjartel) reported

Can't rely on @Foxtel anymore with their programs. Recorded the Cats AFLW Mini replay. 16 mins of Pies Wildcard game first. Then saw 3 mins. Obviously putting in too many ads. Why are we paying for this crap?

  • SupremeBeing888
    SupremeBeing (@SupremeBeing888) reported

Foxtel is worth about $4.99-$6.99 a month, it’s full of commercials… cancel your Foxtel now

  • tom_garner
    Tom Garner (@tom_garner) reported

“There might be a change in broadcasters” Reading in far too much: - “might” - All on Sky on table? - No BBC? Bad IMO - huge reach. Unless ITV want it to add to rugby pfolio - On Pay TV. DAZN? Owns Foxtel so aligned with NRL, but £26 pm. TNT? Not the same production quality

@hillfolkAU Yep let’s sack the guy who was COO for a private uk bus/train operator and worked as a higher up in London rail for someone who’s experience was customer operations at Foxtel … Maybe she’s good but wish they indexed more on transport expertise 🤷🏻
