@Menaiduck @footyindustryAU No. But that literally doesn't impact what a FTA network is willing to pay for rights. Did you forget that Foxtel is subscription rather than ratings driven for its business model?

  • BoomerDea Boomer Dea (@BoomerDea) reported

@joelpmichael @GordyPls In fairness Foxtel have been moving people off HFC for a few years now, since their part owners Telstra sold the network to nbn

  • itsrenatak Renata (@itsrenatak) reported

I only use on demand services on my TV in my living room as my TV in my bedroom doesn’t get enough signal to connect to wifi on my Foxtel box and I just watch and record things straight from the Foxtel box in my bedroom if I want to watch a particular movie in bed.

@discoball2000 @noreasonspec I know it’s not cool to say this but I much preferred pre-streaming Foxtel to what we have now. Not as innovative but pretty much ALL content was on the one service - movies, sport and drama. Now I need to switch between 7 services to get that.

  • markoid63 Mark Pickering (@markoid63) reported

@Eagleeyedkiwi @Goodsy2008 @kayo The app on Apple TV was atrocious this afternoon. I thought it got better but it started with the whole go back 5 seconds and repeat. It was also pixelating like crap too. It really is a poor service for what you pay, but that’s typical Foxtel.

  • chris89910308 christina (@chris89910308) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@dbirch214 Just watched the worst film ever made and it’s on Foxtel omg they are going broke ? Must be ffs

  • DeanRosario Dean Rosario (@DeanRosario) reported

@am_paraj @OptusSport It was reported Foxtel didn't even put a bid for the rights when they were last offered. I'm surprised by Optus. Esp adding a fee for their Mobile/NBN customers. The previous CEO said bundling content was the key to create stickiness for Optus mobile/nbn to help reduce churn

  • innocent_abroad Andy Wright-Slava Ukraini🇺🇦 (@innocent_abroad) reported

@melaniedoak @rubin_angela Not true. They certainly don't own 80% of either TV or radio. Or the internet. They own lots of newspapers and the Foxtel pay TV provider. We have a media diversity problem but that's not the whole of it.

  • Brython14 Brython (@Brython14) reported

And if it is any help, the problem only happens on your sports channels. (Added in the faint hole that someone at Foxtel is professional enough to actually give a ****) @Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help @acccgovau #Australia

  • bswagspeare Billy Swagspeare (@bswagspeare) reported

Foxtel should be paying ME to watch this ****. #NRLBulldogsDragons
