    @Foxtel Had foxtel 35 yrs miss it, exspecially fix footy afl 10x better then seven and the other channels mini series Oh well such is life

    From what I've been able to attain, these were the launch dates for Foxtel Cable in the other metro markets: *Brisbane/Gold Coast: 27/11/1995 *Adelaide 4/7/1996 *Perth: 7/2/1997 Newcastle, the NSW Central Coast, Canberra & Regional WA had to wait for Foxtel satellite's service.

    @lesstenny @SkyNewsAust Best thing we did was get rid of foxtel (& skynews), it wasn't easy at 1st, but then we heard about kayo (instead of fox sports) & we learned 2 live without the extra cost. Only have kayo & stan & our sanity, skynews was & is bad for those who want a normal & peaceful existence.

    Live sport is just about keeping Foxtel afloat, although you do have to wonder what would happen if the FTA networks finally decided to work together and build a "Freeview Sports" service which could potentially offset costs for some of those ever-increasing sports rights deals!

    @Bosslogic never heard of it. but i've never had foxtel which i assume that's what it was on
