So sick and tired of constantly having problems with @OptusSport to watch the @premierleague 😑 Trying once again to get the @afcbournemouth and @ManUtd game and it will cast to the TV and just spin and won’t play the programme. Seriously hope #Foxtel get the rights back!

@centralNRL He used to talk down the value of the nrl tv deal every time it was up for renewal when he had a job at Foxtel. Even they got sick of him

@fa37376 Do you understand how much money Qatar and the UAE have? Saudi Arabia have a minority stake in DAZN who bought Foxtel which plays Sydney games on it. They can’t take it back, but they could have easily renewed the sponsorship, instead they turned down the money.

@Raiders_24Sep89 We need Foxtel not to own it kayo is garbage & will cost $500 a year soon for a tax payer subsidised sport. Channel 7 & 9 split coverage, ad free games on stan or similar

@andrew_whelan The problem is, it still just uses the same linear channel feeds from Foxtel.

@LeagueFreak Kerry Packer believed you bid the maximum you can so if you loose to anyone else - you know they will be worst off than you. Foxtel knows it will lose half their subscriptions if they lose the NRL. And that means it will go broke because they already over paid for the AFL.
