  • _xDAMOx_ Damien Porter (@_xDAMOx_) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hey @Foxtel @Telstra Can you please explain why there is no subtitle option on your new streaming service #Binge - pretty disgraceful if this is the case!

  • AdamJFitzgerald Adam Fitzgerald (@AdamJFitzgerald) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@RalphyHeraldSun Fox Footy will be in more debt when I cancel my Foxtel subscription next week, along with any AFL payment.

  • Fernby Out Of Lockdown Rodders 😎 (@Fernby) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Anotherfilmnerd Pffffffff “Foxtel” never have, never will.

  • benhook1 Ben Hook (@benhook1) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@mattyweaver23 @Foxtel There is nothing more depressing than the vision of Norman’s flared approach into the gallery at 18 in 86. He was already beaten, but his expression was of a broken man. And I imagine that’s on the menu across the next 72 hours.

  • Neopseudo Sociable Socialist (@Neopseudo) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

About ******* time. Newscorpse revenue is substantially down in the USA, the UK and here. We can’t cure his ****** up mind, but we can starve him. I know many of u love Foxtel but if you want a 1/2 decent country (world) for your kids then cut the Antichrist’s feeding tube 😈✊

  • Neopseudo Sociable Socialist (@Neopseudo) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hang off there. I gave up Foxtel years ago due to Murdoch. When I saw the post on Netflix I thought **** what next. So I checked up on the NYSE share register, no Murdoch and no Newscorpse listed as significant holders.

  • Too_Spicie_CC Christopher Cornish (@Too_Spicie_CC) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

It’s official, after 21 years of great entertainment, I’ve decided to cancel my Foxtel subscription due mostly on financial difficulties as being on a pension with a part time job is tough and besides, there is nothing on these days!!!!

  • suechook Susie (@suechook) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Foxtel Seriously this is the 3rd month you have overcharged me!! About to cancel this useless service

  • suechook 💧Susie (@suechook) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Foxtel Hey Foxtel the new back screen is terrible. Those of us with poor eyesight can’t read the screen because of the black background. The old style was so much better

  • suechook 💧Susie (@suechook) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Foxtel Not bad Foxtel, charged me for Netflix at 17.99 which was wrong so you refund me 17.98! You owe me 1 cent

  • suechook 💧Susie (@suechook) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Foxtel Your messaging system is crap I want to speak to a person not waste time messaging!

  • seansmith_au sean smith (@seansmith_au) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Once again (yawn) Foxtel Now cricket streaming is S#&@. Constantly freezing for a few seconds, resumes, ok, freezes, resumes. Always issues @FOXTEL_Help your end. Stan/Netflix are seemless. I’m getting to the point of crankiness paying $$$$ for a poor service. Over it.

  • seansmith_au sean smith (@seansmith_au) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Yet again (lost count) @FOXTEL_Help @Foxtel Now streaming is hopeless. Start, stop, loading. I have great NBN speeds, it’s your end. Trying to watch ICC Cricket. I’m tired of paying you $$$ for a crap service. I want a refund. #ffs $70 per month for this bs.

  • murrinmedia David Murrin (@murrinmedia) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

When the internet is down and #Foxtel is as stable as Britney Spears, I’m glad I still have actual movies to watch.

  • leonheames Leon Heames (@leonheames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@FOXTEL_Help No outages just a very bad picture

  • LeithGourlay Leith Gourlay (@LeithGourlay) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

FOXTEL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • Bondiward Mike Ward (@Bondiward) reported

@davidbewart I would put money on it and get very low odds. Didn't Malcolm then donate 40mil to Murdoch. The NBN was undermined to protect the Foxtel cable network. It's obvious. Who did it for what reason.I'm sure they all deny but the NBN experience and internet speeds speak for themselves

  • emjayde2012 emily jayde (@emjayde2012) reported

@Telstra is there an outage in chadstone no internet and no Foxtel and when we call we get hung up on

  • geodel62 the big souvlaki ..new ice cream flavour (@geodel62) reported

@RichardTuffin @blakandblack These groups can be found amongst Sky/Foxtel subscribers. Should be too hard to track them down.

  • rightleftgreg Greg King (@rightleftgreg) reported

@simleo @MadFckingWitch Lol. Foxtel called me all excited with a subscription deal $49 how does that sound ? I said “sounds ****, call me back when it’s 10”

  • BobSlydell81 Witchfinder General (@BobSlydell81) reported

@BrianMitchellMP Anyone with any intelligence knew that fibre was the best option. The problem was that ‘fibre to the node’ was a threat to Foxtel and thereafter Murdoch’s minions (in the media and LNP govt) did their duty for the dark lord.

  • PeterWi05879624 Peter Williams (@PeterWi05879624) reported

@deniseshrivell Don't worry now that Rupert's FoxTel is moving to internet delivery mechanisms he'll probably instruct the government to fix the NBN.

  • hayden_marsh96 Hayden Marsh (@hayden_marsh96) reported

@2degreesmobile I'm currently getting some pretty severe latency issues to some Australian ISP's. Telstra (Sydney) to name one. ~145ms ping vs ~46ms ping to Foxtel (Sydney). Not just me too, other friends on 2D are also having these issues.

  • whiskybic ALEX JOEL (@whiskybic) reported

@DanielBleakley @AlboMP @Foxtel I'd argue it's not even done much to help Foxtel in the long run, so the damage was essentially done for nothing - scuttling infrastructure for no gain. IMO biggest things that prop up Foxtel's subscriber base are sports and exclusive content like their HBO catalogue.

  • ChrisRoss32 Chris Ross (@ChrisRoss32) reported

@MRowlandMP @Bowenchris What a surprise! Australia punished again by our "leaders", all so Rupert Murdoch could sell his copper Foxtel cable service to the NBN. Any network engineer worth their salt would design a solution with as few options as possible - consistency is key!

  • DanielBleakley Daniel Bleakley (@DanielBleakley) reported

@AlboMP Worked our well for #Murdoch! His @Foxtel network benefits massively from Australia having a 3rd rate #NBN. Too bad for every single Australian citizen though.
