Julia Mather (@mather_julia) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@stains77 @SMHsport I finally despaired of Foxtel and got rid of it just before the World Cup. I’ve been so happy with Kayo, it’s a brilliant service and obviously so much cheaper.
-

-

💧Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider
-
Christine McDonald (@Clubby_R8) reported from Tamborine Mountain, QueenslandSeriously ridiculous trying to watch HBO Max on @foxtel it just keeps on booting me out of the app while I'm trying to watch The Big Bang Theory. I get to see one episode then it closes out of the app. It sucks, glad I'm not paying for this 💩
-
🔥 Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@alexbhturnbull @Foxtel @dailytelegraph @australian I agree Alex but It's easy for me. Never had any #Murdoch subscriptions. Used to buy the Sun Courier-Mail Gave that up 10 years ago #MurdochFree

Dallas Bayly (@everrob25) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandIt's a shame this family couldn't engineer to support action to support for the environment. FOXTEL Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Nat Geo (@___Geo__) reported@kayosports how do you expect people who live in remote Australia to be able to watch any live sports? These restrictions are absolutely ridiculous and anti consumer. The only way I can watch anything that Kayo has access to is by paying full price to a Foxtel service box?????
-
Corey Wright (Mr. CW) (@RealCOZZASAIDSO) reported@GrumpyPigeon @7plus Glad I recorded on Foxtel to watch properly. I thought it was a Copyright issue with the Doctor Who stuff. It actually has both audio/video messed up. Hopefully is fixed soon to watch properly.
-
mark macca 🐅🐅🏆 (@mcdonellaussie) reported@simmoh666 @FOXTEL_Help @Foxtel Everytime Kayo plays up I find Foxtel is no good too. I just presume they using the same platform to stream with. Paramount were crap for two year just with sports the rest was good. They obviously took notice and worked to improve their technology & fixed it! Or viewers dropped
-
Briggsy (@champingyon) reportedThe Foxtel commentary team for this Titans vs Manly game could be the worst of all time....
-
M.\tt 🟡🟢 (@CosmicMatt92) reported@Bingbongbo10475 @telegraph_sport The TV ratings have been neck and neck for FTA/VOZ audience figures. Both AFL and NRL hovering around 500-650k. AFL has beaten the NRL multiple times this season including last night which was AFL 655k and NRL 544k. It's always going to change though depending on the games that are on and general interest in those teams. In the stands, its 37,623 AFL and 21, 676 NRL for average attendance. That's 73% higher. For last season in particular, AFL had a Seven FTA average of 630k, and roughly 300k for Kayo/Foxtel NRL had a Nine FTA average of 570k and around 430k for Kayo/Foxtel. So no, it's not night and day between "every domestic sport combined" its barely midday and 1pm between NRL and AFL, and night and day between AFL and NRL when it comes to people actually getting off their arses and going to support their team. I don't watch either sport, but the facts are there in black and white.
-
wb1234 (@wallybechara) reported@WSWanderingEels All those games where afl show multiple games on seven as one game, the Foxtel ratings would be awful. Guess we never know but I used to see some games getting 80k on Fox. On par with what a league and super rugby used to get
-
lady galadriels 🏏 @ mtcg - ishkh khakfe andu null (@miss_reys_mind) reportedtakes 3 ******* hours to watch a one hour show on hbomax with foxtel. buffers more than what you see play. on top of that the wifi drops from foxtel too. hbomax app doesnt work straight through the tv anymore. -
Ian Clarke (@ianclarkeAU) reported@GusLefty @AJG71 @karlstefanovic QED. This ALP fool doesn’t know Foxtel rolled out and paid for a cable network for far less $/ customer than the NBN. Foxtel: ~$800–$1,100 per premise. NBN: $2,000–$2,750+ per premise.
-
James Jones (@JamesyJones) reported@OMGTheMess Coalition also handed out $40m to Foxtel. Complete and utter scam. Cash for comment each and every night. There was no tender, no conditions and no reporting. All to a subscription service that cheerleads them every night. But the Right don’t dare bring that up.
-
Darrel Nay (@BlueLionMusings) reported@Foxtel I've been a customer for 30 years or thereabouts and I never get offered these prices - not impressed. Foxtel seems to be more and more women's sports with more and more ads - the value for a viewer has collapsed. Why am I charged almost twice what a new customer is charged ?
