These free to air TV reception problems didn't happen with the Austar MyStar HD. And the iQ2 didn't have free to air TV channels. Can @Foxtel fix these problems with an over the air software update? It dents the reputation of the Foxtel iQ4 as an all in one if FTA TV is ******.

@Doodarino @NHL Mate, they’re not broadcasting through the app anymore. Click on watch & It takes you to the ESPN app, which takes you to either Foxtel or Fetch. I’m in the process of getting rid of Foxtel because it’s garbage and now I’m going to be expected to pay twice as much just for @NHL

@Foxtel My wife made me watch this. We tuned in at 8:29pm She handed me the remote by 8:47pm and apologised. We’ve agreed that she’s never allowed to demand we watch a program again….

Also the free to air TV channels work great on the Fetch TVs in these sample households. But the free to air TV channels on @Foxtel are very spotty. I bought new coaxial cabling for a few of the households. It didn't help the ****** Foxtel FTA TV reception. 📺 #ausmedia #austv

@andrew_54 Rough. I remember all the 10s were broken at my first rental - desperately needed it for the NBL because we had no Foxtel and slow ADSL (not that streaming was much of a thing then) back then. For what it's worth 10play has been fine for the games so far.

Is this a widespread problem? Do any @Foxtel users on Twitter have trouble with the free to air TV reception on their iQ3, iQ4 or iQ5 set top boxes? I would be a lot happier with Foxtel if they could remedy the issue. I've done as much as I can. I'm sure it's a bug or purposeful.
