Destiny 2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Carpanfan96 Timothy Beheler (@Carpanfan96) reported

@gerardcfc1888 @Bungie You have the game engine from halo 3/reach/destiny 1/2, the actual destiny 2 game itself and a few more years of major expansions for it, as well as the new game they are making plus Bungies live service system to use for other playstation live service games that will be coming

  • kendragon2 Ken O Rourke (@kendragon2) reported

@PaulTassi They could be willing to throw enough resources at bungie to 'somehow' fix and tighten up the issues with the pvp modes and try and get Destiny into esports. Just a thought.

  • TheRealSten Sten (@TheRealSten) reported

@WSJ Microsoft tried to buy them a few times and but couldn't agree on price. Either way I can't wait to see what they cook up that's not Destiny. It still blows my mind they got Insomniac for the price that they did. I know Destiny is live service but 230 million is crazy.

  • B_Aquaman Bronson (@B_Aquaman) reported

@PHANTOM___XZ @Ronaldo67760654 @JeffGrubb Both Warzone and Destiny 2 make stupid money for games as a service platforms With Sony money D3 can have a new engine that is actually optimized (and probably runs best on Playstation)

  • jovic_blazo Tselel leb (@jovic_blazo) reported

@mrpyo1 Imo. Sony's statement in supporting "Live service games and multiplatforms" is only with destiny 2 to avoid major crying from its fans in other platform. Outside of that, i think Bungie is the one assigned to develop the FPS that replaces COD in the long run.

  • lechd ⠥⠝⠧⠑⠗⠊⠋⠊⠑⠙ (@lechd) reported

@Sony may have acquired @Bungie, but Destiny 2 players still lost. Hell, I can't even start a new game and replay the original content I purchased for the first few DLC's without getting blasted every loading screen to get a season pass. This is @Sony's problem now. LOL.

  • IridescentPure Luna Turner 🏳️‍🌈 (The Crimson Furry) (@IridescentPure) reported

@2098diklooc I think it's about the long term, Destiny 2 is a decent service game and that's what matters to them, but personally if they can craft like amazing FPS games or amazing games in general that aren't FPS too I ain't even trippennnn

  • Nightmarish420 Nightmarish (@Nightmarish420) reported

@IGN Honestly glad bungie is getting new money flow since they said f*ck you to activision destiny has had a lot of issues that revolve around their funds

  • vochennny 🐒 (@vochennny) reported

@sym_m3 They paid 3.6b for a dev team with the combined iq of 12 and a **** live service game. Hope they help fix destiny

  • tmossboss TYLER (@tmossboss) reported

Hopefully Sony can fix Destiny if they do come out with a 3rd one.

  • vinyrusk Vinyrusk (@vinyrusk) reported

@RikRok_1981 @Inspitefuls @Bungie Name another game that Bungie is known for. If you say Halo well too bad they don’t own Halo anymore. It’s literally only Destiny which is a broken game.

  • sidofthedead1 ShhhimDead🏳️‍🌈he/they🏴‍☠️ (commissions open) (@sidofthedead1) reported

@YukiCk23 @Jamieexan @Sorren115 no im not saying this either. they will never beat the old group but to say they are not a good company is hard because although there has been some serious issues with destiny (of which i know they have changed and someof the scraps make no sense) they are still continued

  • LyleRath Lyle Rath (@LyleRath) reported

In honor of PlayStation announcing they bought Bungie like 5 minutes after we released our monthly gaming news show: Reply to this tweet with things you want them to change/fix in Destiny 2 and maybe it'll get rattled off as part of a short spite gag in the next one

  • varisfromexit varis (@varisfromexit) reported

@bungie @DestinyTheGame currently in a broken trials match where it won’t proceed beyond round complete. Everyone quit, everyone is dead, no one could get the match to reset. So I’m going to most likely get a warning or suspension because your game is trash.

  • Rad__knight Rad Knight (@Rad__knight) reported

@Extr3me17 @PlayStation @Xbox in some cases yeah. in this case, not really, since bungie said they're still gonna be multiplat and even if they didn't they're only losing destiny. and i don't think xbox has a problem with not having shooters.

  • GamePassNews Gamepass News (@GamePassNews) reported

@MikeDaLGND Destiny could be the first key in PlayStation’s own rumored subscription service. Just like Microsoft that would mean they would want it on as many platforms as possible.

  • LadyNinjaGaming 🎮LNG🎮 (@LadyNinjaGaming) reported

@BungieHelp Im trying to open the moon with my Titan and everytime I pass the area where I kill the first Skreacher thing, I get a battle eye Query and then error message PLUM, I did everything that needs to be done and it still kicks me to Main Menu

  • the_yellow_pika Pika (@the_yellow_pika) reported

@BaconWrapped19 @jasonschreier That's one hell of a counter, Destiny is a seriously huge franchise. Just on steam during a "drought" as players are calling it, it is still staying above 50k avg players, so that's one hell of a counter. All you Xbox guys want to look at is dollar signs, that's the problem

  • Camm0237 Blank (@Camm0237) reported

@RAZ0RFIST Isn't it a live service game? Why wouldn't they make DLC for it? Their 10 year plan was ****** after the first year so making new dlcs instead of a new Destiny is probably for the best.

  • TacticalRatTail TacticalRatTail (@TacticalRatTail) reported

@BungieHelp sure would love to be able to play. All my friends and myself keep getting the "beaver" error code. Been going on for two days!!

  • EmirSjarif Emir Sjarif (@EmirSjarif) reported

@ROneOSix @jasonschreier In an interview with Sony dude, the reason why the buy Bungie so they could learn how to make game as service faster than their predicted time. Bungie promise Destiny and their next project to be multiplat.

  • Slakoo_ SlakooB42 (@Slakoo_) reported

When all you wanted to do after work was play #Destiny2 but you know disconnect on Monday nights and need to keep it that way

  • CWDavidson Chris Davidson (@CWDavidson) reported

Destiny seasons have mostly missed the last 2 years and the product is kind of a mess. Now 1/3 of the player base will lose access and for what? Bungie's issues are creative bankruptcy, they are already a juggernaut sized 900 person studio, throwing more money won't fix that.

  • CoryLaneBrooks Lane Brooks (@CoryLaneBrooks) reported

@BungieHelp I'm able to play other games but destiny keeps throwing up the centipede error code again.

  • CJ_Mystik CJGomez (@CJ_Mystik) reported

@MrboomstickXL @TheMuff1nMon @nonstoptalent Really does seem weird seeing bungie with PlayStation but honestly not surprised as they seemed desperate for capital investment for projects and Xbox wasn’t going to give it nor anyone else but Sony it seems. Xbox has FPS and live service down and Sony now has destiny

  • bramcrack3r Bramcracker (@bramcrack3r) reported

@JaysonPosts It cant be any worse than them under Activision, forcing them to make Destiny 2 instead of supporting D1 and creating the entire scenario that led to every problem Destiny 2 has had up to this point.

  • KrisPigna Kris Pigna (@KrisPigna) reported

The best part of that for Sony and Microsoft is it means even PC gamers no longer evade their hold. "I don't care, I play CoD/Destiny on PC." Yes, well, what happens when the ONLY way to play them becomes Microsoft's/Sony's subscription service?

  • abernasty5 @abernasty (@abernasty5) reported

@BungieHelp As long as its not HUMAN CENTIPEDE errors, y'all should be fine.

  • VonisV2 Tae Bo Holodeck Master (@VonisV2) reported

Honestly, this is the first of these acquisitions that's really phased me bc I was hopeful that Bungo would become the exception and keep Destiny independent. And for a while it seemed like they'd be able to do it given that - despite so many problems - the game kept growing!

  • SoapBoxGames Connor (The Batman’s burner account 🦇) (@SoapBoxGames) reported

@XBOXOBI This is more of a future proving scenario. Yes they have Destiny now which is a decent pool of the casual market. But now they have devs with decades of experience dealing with MP/Live service games. This is to make sure whatever Sony MP titles are at least competent
