The biggest problem with little I know about Marathon is it's technically a sequel (soft reboot?) Of a 30+ year old game and feels like it expects new players to just understand it right away.

" Hey, remember how many things were poorly thought out at release? We've fixed them!" I launched the game again. It asked me to buy the expansion or be stuck with the same awful game it was at release. "We fixed it, now pay us again to access the fixes." I never logged in again. You suck, and so does your stupid game.

The only problem I see with the game and why it wasn't for me is how sweaty it was due to extraction shooter, that was short sight from Bungie, the rest I feel is grifters narratives or people that feel every game must appease to them having a tantrum.

Ill definitely play out the last live service release. Then go back and do some title finishing afterwards. Ive left desert perpetual raid unplayed for something to do!
