It’s one thing to end the live service game in a meaningful way with plans for the future, it’s a whole other to kill it, spit in the face of fans and funnel all your focus into another IP that failed so D2 could die.

And always found a new balance. To see this post right now, only shows, that the developement isn't anywhere near to it's playerbase.

But the entire customer service design and ban system was fundamentally flawed. They had no escalation process that worked. People would buy expansions, not even have it provision properly and then escalate on the forums and get trolled relentlessly. People got auto banned for using steam decks. When you are lazy people quit your **** product. Even if its a pretty pile of ****.

Right now, the servers aren’t even working when Striker is in Escalation as target loot – and we won’t even start on the other Deltas and issues. People have been putting up with a lot for years.
