We're aware that the recent VALORANT update is causing some PC systems to freeze. We paused the update for those who haven't downloaded it yet - you should be OK until we find a fix. For those who updated, uninstalling/ reinstalling Vanguard will put you on the old patch for now.

Anyone who’s DMd me about an issue with VALORANT not loading/crashing your PC... I uninstalled Faceit/Faceit anti cheat and it worked instantly. Shout out @KurtG

@PlayVALORANT I can't open my game since your update caused #bsod. After the #bsod 'fix', my client starts, launches VALORANT.exe and some other .exe stuff then everything is killed.

@Slasher Valorant servers are pure doo doo. 20 ping, 144 fps and get random DC’s and it seems there’s tons of ppl with the same issue according to reddit and it’s been happening since last year without Riot addressing it 😭

Right I need guidance. If there’s any pc experts out there please help me out. I have this problem with #Valorant where it runs perfectly but as soon as I open any app on my second monitor the frames drop like crazy. It still shows 200+ frames but it’s no where near. #help

The mini valorant update that pushed today seem to crash the game or freeze peoples PC do a restart, seems to have stopped the freezing haven't had any issues since 1 hour now RT so others can fix their issue restart soon as u update

Riot has confirmed issues with Vanguard and FACEIT are the main problem for the crashes. If you are still experiencing issues and want to play #VALORANT, either update your FACEIT client or uninstall it.
