I've seen some "going through partner's phone" video. Funny. I must be really old cause I don't use my phone, almost never. So my wife can use it all she wants. Worst case, she finds a security code from twitch in my messages.

It’s amazing to me that every time there’s a major problem that comes up with twitch, they’ve magically been “working on it for months”. First, you’re lying and second, hate raids have been a thing for years so even if that was true, you were still super late?? #TwitchDoBetter

People are still being botted and hate-raided on the regular, and while I want to believe (some) people at Twitch are trying to help marginalized streamers with this, it's still frustrating to see the company issue platitudes with no public plan to address this.

@breadwitchery @overther4 Cancel your contract and slowly move over you can’t re stream but you should be able to stream at differnt times without getting in trouble don’t let one platform tell you what you can’t do with your community it’s your community not twitches

@L1_en_ @Hard_Pretzel @TwitchSupport I know its not a solution to the problem, but if this ever happens again, set your chat to "Sub Only Mode". That'll at least put a tiny little bandaid on the much bigger wound that Twitch is dealing with right now. I'm so heccin sorry that this happened to you. :(

@Twitch @TwitchSupport Literally just fix your captcha system so people can't bypass by saying "Remind me later" and it'll severely stem the raids. Mass influx of new accounts from one IP address? BAN THEM. No excuses. #TwitchDoBetter

@Durghan @Twitch Please tell me, what can they do? You can ban someone AFTER THE FACT, but that doesn’t stop the problem. Twitch is free. You can have as many twitch accounts as you want as long as you have the emails. Not hard. SWATTING is a problem too, that’s MORE dangerous. Pt 1
