@telegram Just a suggestion for Telegram desktop (Windows): Upload & Download manager: Once downloading or Uploading all the files are done, Telegram will shut they system down automatically.

Like, they literally wrote code to clear the screen. Why not just leave it how it was, and display a "Network is down" banner on top? That's what Telegram does. And every other sensible chat software.
