If you're worried about your messages being read you need to specifically look for a messaging service that encrypts them. Try out Signal, Telegram, or Threema. Who knows when your messages might be used out of context in a court case against you.

@durov & @telegram please add the ability to block ppl who are not your contacts from messaging you. It's very annoying. Maybe implement a request to chat feature, it would really help with the amount of randoms popping in for a pm.

@JurassicArse My granaunt was on the home farm, 1941, getting the dinner ready, and the door handle pressed down, door opened and slowly shut. A couple of hours later the telegram arrived to tell them one of the boys (my granuncle) had died suddenly that morning. He came home, I'm sure of it.
