@ambosstech Super cool! I'm giving it a try right now. One small onboarding suggestion: If the user's telegram account isn't connected, link to connect section in settings with the error message (I had to dig through settings to find. Also didn't know I needed to "start" a chat with bot).

@Tinu Telegram also has had some fishy homebrew cryptography stuff they've tried to push if I remember rightly. So I generally stick with Signal which doesn't have the same issues, but your mileage may vary.

@TreehouseDarren That's good to know as far as the latest version of Telegram. I had some of the focus issues but I was able to work around them mostly. I wonder if a lot of these other apps use the same code, and just call the apps different things. I've got no idea really.

Sometimes, I do wanna have a chatbot/AI agent, that can help me respond x reply 2 my friends and fml through imess and Zalo, Telegram x VK are good, too but, i am always very lazy to do it, u know, I send voicemessage to reply .. so lazy, but, i do read x appreciate messages

I'm struck by how often the far-right believes they're going to be "saved" by a new social network, whether that's Parler, Gab, Telegram and now Truth. then later they still want to be saved by something else. the fact is they're looking to be outraged and nothing will fix that.

The only instance in which HotFudgeHusky credited me for my work was on his TikTok account, the one that posts stolen content, and when he put me in uncomfortable telegram chats with his commissioners so we could figure out the art while he didn't move a finger to help

@nightdrake Nicegram has the same focus issues because they're using a largely unmodified code. However, I have to say that I don't have the focus issues with the latest version of Telegram, just slide your finger up from the text box into the messages and all is good.

@john_mcguirk I do think that completely a unmoderated forum will ultimately turn people off, resulting in departures (eg Telegram is a cesspit of lunatics). I can’t see how such a model will help grow advertising & profitability (which, given the debt involved, is something he has to do).

@seriki001 I did that for the 7 months that FG shut Twitter down. Aside WhatsApp, Instagram and telegram. Every other SM was cut off.
