TheStockoLator (@Stockolator) reported@RobinhoodApp 529s, HSAs, 401Ks, business accounts. Become a full service brokerage. I have a 529 with $214K in it, which I would gladly transfer over, especially if you offered some better funds. The Vanguard funds I had it in since 2000 kinda sucked. But the other available options were even worse. A better HSA would be a winner, especially as healthcare continues failing us.

I keep getting notifications to use my free $1k in margin, but @AskRobinhood won’t let me for who knows what reason. 🤷 Never had a problem with margin the almost decade I’ve been on the app. It’s been cruel & unusual punishment for absolutely no reason. I’d have transferred my custodial account & was staring a joint account with someone, but not with Robinhood punishing me for no reason. 😔

Nick Lachey (@_omgnicklachey) reportedwonder if @Kalshi and @RobinhoodApp will adjust their prediction market components so it isn’t terrible for underdog bets and fees become a percentage. right now the cost is 2c of every dollar regardless of the odds. this means that for a 8c odds prediction you are basically getting into the position at 10c, an enormous fee percent. in a 2 cent situation you basically have double cost due to fees.

Meanwhile I signed up for IBKR last week because it has Japanese (and now Korean) names that Robinhood doesn’t. Same problems I’ve have which keeps me using fidelity. @RobinhoodApp if you want serious investors with serious money, can you focus on competing with Schwab and Fidelity and IBKR? You’re about to become the Snapchat of brokerages
