  • SlyGamer64B sly (@SlyGamer64B) reported

@UltimaHeart @XinguIarity There are so many other factors I could list, but I think that was the core issue. That's why Nintendo was so focused on making sure the Switch's marketing/messaging and the first-year lineup would be good.

  • skritchen Scråppyߢroo (@skritchen) reported

@NintendoAmerica These add exactly 0 to the value of this service

  • NintendoShame Nintendo Shame (@NintendoShame) reported

It's been 91 days since the last game was added to the Nintendo Switch Online service

  • JoJoDArtist JoJo D. Artist {bIm} (@JoJoDArtist) reported

@DojimaDog Honestly with the drip feed of very "obscure" games Nintendo is adding to the online service (usually before a big direct) it feels like they just kinda forget about it and then scramble to see if Data East or Jaleco has some rom laying around that they could license

  • Shonnieb2 Topdog' The Last Real Brotha Alive (@Shonnieb2) reported

@Ziggyzaggy300 @Marigio300 @NintendoAmerica Its a licensing issue, if you really want to play the game, you're going to need to find another way, besides waiting for Nintendo to do it, the only way to play it on switch is on a hacked switch.

  • litewski TZ 🌻 (@litewski) reported

plus traveling from the sky to the surface is such an integral mechanic of the game like i dont think anyone was that mad abt having to do it??? nintendo created a problem no one was having and then said "we fixed it! for a price 😈"

  • SmashTheOni Evan (@SmashTheOni) reported

With EarthBound, it's the same thing. It's almost definitely Itoi keeping the game from being added to NSO. Itoi owns at least half of the Mother IP, and has to approve everything Nintendo does with it. If he has a problem with NSO for whatever reason, he's not gonna allow it.

  • scully1888 Chris Scullion (@scully1888) reported

@NBandicam @CamCritiques @NintendoAmerica Your piss-poor insult aside, the original game needed MotionPlus and not everyone had it, so including a controller saved a lot of headaches with children getting it for Christmas and not being able to play it. That isn't an issue here.

  • Beigegamer The Beige Villager (@Beigegamer) reported

@Firefly_TheBun @Hezzzz21 @BrownieheroEXE You didn’t offer a solution to the problem at all. Only Nintendo had the power to fix that, hence people criticising. And why not? Can’t handle the fact you’re blatantly wrong and the majority of people agree you were wrong?

  • eeveekyu Eeveekyu (@eeveekyu) reported

@NintendoAmerica If your going to make your service more valuable by adding older games at least add more interesting ones from the GBA or DS era

  • donchico_ don (@donchico_) reported

@KirbyEarthbound @NintendoAmerica its not that hard to not use this **** *** service and just download an emulator

  • TheDerpMan2 The Derp Man (@TheDerpMan2) reported

@MattJoestar666 @IntroSpecktive Ok no. This service is terrible and the constant adding of nobody knows these games is just another kick in the ****. The online almost never works well, the social aspects are garbage, and we barely ever get games added to the snes and nes. Stop giving nintendo points for this.

  • PudinDiPreda Pudin (@PudinDiPreda) reported

@Hana_Yuribashi Its cool and all that Nintendo tries to give some retro games on Switch but **** thar service's pricing here in Brazil

  • JayTomten Jay Tomten (@JayTomten) reported

@stopskeletons This is far less of a problem than off-disc DLC. I would VERY MUCH rather have it exist in the real world than have it disappear into the ether when servers get shutdown. So far, most Nintendo titles are still shipping in working order, unlike a lot of other publisher's games.

  • ninjaandpirate Joeba Fett (@ninjaandpirate) reported

@drewjallen @NinWire Man if only Nintendo had a huge diverse catalog of peerless classics at their disposal. This library would be a legendary online service everybody would pay for! But alas everybody knows Nintendo has only made like 12 games ever.
